To Understand Your Sweethearts...
Oksana Boichenko
It is well-known that all people speak different languages. But does anybody know that there are also "languages of love"? Those who has loved know that sooner or later feeling of infatuation disappears and one has to do his best not to let the spark of love fizzle. But how to do that and how to make your dating with ideal? To find answer lets refer to the American psychologist Chempen's book which is called "Five Languages of love".
Well, the first language according to Mr. Chempen is called "encouragement words". It can be compliments, cheer, gratitude. But! Don't flatter! Tell the truth as your has a lot of advantages and when you're criticising her, don't do it in a harsh way. For Russian woman who doesn't understand "language of encouragement words" can be offended by such words, if she takes them like a signal of your objection.
The second type is "language of time". Women are happy and feel comfortable when they spend time with their beloved men. These can be visiting cinema, going for walks or just simply watching TV, the main thing - to do it together.
Most part of men takes presents just as a part of the dating period. But when they have already conquered a lady, they can relax and imagine presents for her birthday, Christmas and New Year. By the way, it is believed that giving presents is a men's prerogative. Of course, if for your "sweetheart" only price of the present is the most important thing we can't even mention the third type of language of love! But if the present itself makes her the happiest woman in the world, so you can transfer the strength of your feelings with the help of present.
"Language of help". You can give your millions of presents and make her compliments without pauses, but she won't believe you. How do you think why? Every morning you ate a tasty breakfast, every evening you came back to the comfortable tidy flat...All these was a demonstration of love to you. So, make conclusions, it'll be better if you even seldom wash the dishes, walk the dog without any recalls. It will also be a declaration of love in some special way.
"Language of touching" is very important for all people who love, especially for women as they are more sensitive than men. If woman has a necessity to perceive an object of her love, don't push her way by calling it "sissy stuff" for example - you can hurt her?
I think that offends are familier to each of us. We feel hurt because of some actions of our intimate people, but maybe we just don't notice that they are trying to say us something in some different language. Possibly you will have to learn your partner's language in order to understand each other, but I don't think it'll be difficult as you do it because you love!
