If you are new to the Outland, I can tell you now that it is the place to get some of the best drops in Warcraft, motes are great and if you farm the right spots, you can easily pick up a couple primals an hour which sell for good amounts of gold.

A great spot to farm is in Hellfire on the eastern edge where the Voidwalkers spawn. The Voidwalkers drop silver, green items and quite often, motes of shadow which can be turned into Primal Shadows.

Nagrand is another great place to grind, being a skinner, I enjoy farming for Thick Clefthoof Leather which high level leather workers buy for a hefty price. At level 70, these Clefthoof are easy to kill.

If you aren't a skinner, Nagrand still offers a lot of motes, near the Oshu'Gun there are Voidspawns which drop mote of shadow and just south from there are Shattered Rumblers that drop mote of earth.

The Netherstorm is a nice place to farm for netherweave cloth, I think this is the best area to grind for it, the name of the area says it all! You can pick this cloth up [all over|left and right from the hundreds of humanoids that are scattered throughout Netherstorm, not to mention Sunfury Signets that are very great sellers.

Being level 70 has advantages, but if you haven't hit 70 yet, try going to Terokkar Forrest and farming for Firewing Signets or Arakkoa Feathers, these both sell on the AH very nicely and the mobs are not really that tough. The Firewing Point is the place to go for Signets and the Talonite Bird-guys are in about 4 different spots.

Another great gold maker is the Spider Silk in Terokkar Forrest, (Netherweb)... These bad boys go for an easy 10G a pop and you can snatch up about a stack an hour if you are good! I have a Hunter and I send my pet in to do all the dirty work while I go off and fetch 2 or 3 more spiders then send the pet after them, using Beatial Wrath which makes him stronger, taking out 3 or 4 spiders in one killing, rest up and repeat, in 2 hours I average about 25-30 of these spider webs and that is easy gold my friends!
