People are demanding, inquisitive, sharing, impatient, knowledgable, communal and...dare we say it...demanding. With Gimme Answers we've tried to launch a service that will help to put the human back into the web. Now don't get us wrong, we are technophiles, we love Twitter, Facebook, Google,

et al but when you've got more servers than people something's getting lost.

So here's the idea, rather than search for an answer thrown back by a very intelligent algorithm that sort of answers your question why not call upon the collective knowledge of the 6 billion of us that live on this planet and why not call up them now to answer your question, not a question similar to your but your specific question, on demand.

So that's the goal of the service we are trying to create, human assisted on demand knowledgeshare but that's just too boring a title so welcome to Gimme Answers.

As you know we are new, but form acorns do great oaks grow (or something like that) and we know our service isn't perfect, it probably never will be, but then, as humans neither will we. That said we are going to give it a go to create the best answers service out there on the web. We can't do it

without you so we'd like your help, most all by asking and answering questions but also in telling us what you'd like to see on the site. So right now you'll find all the classic community software you'd expect, we are developing on open source using Boonex's Dolphin suite for starters so

watch out for improved Q&A and video services just as soon as we can get it done. We use various answer services API's to backfill our community results to give you the best service possible and our revenues model is advertising funded. We aren't selling your email or questions and answers... it just seems fairer that way!
