Bogota has a bit of everything. It has great cultural history, beautiful scenery and a night-life with the most amazingly rich South American flavour second to none. This is where you will find the best nightclubs, bars and trendiest restaurants. If you are within walking distance from the main hub of the centre then you will enjoy your stay much more, although the public transport and taxi service is top notch. If you are worried about your safety then you will be happy to know that the authorities have steadily improved the face of the city over the last two decades and Bogota is now a fairly safe city to tour at night.
