So, how can you bring about better customer service?
1. Do things before they ask for it: That's right. Be a spymode and be able to discern what your customers want even before they wouldwant to ask for it. Can you imagine their delight? That should be essence ofyour business. Delighting them.
2. Appreciate and thank them: It is noticed time and againthat a simple act of saying thank you is often lacking in business transactionseveryday. All you had to do was to appreciate them on days important to them,or even saying thank you once they finished their purchase. If no one else isdoing it, you have a great chance to score a mark on customer service. However,if every one is doing it, you ought to think of something else.
3. Treat them well: They are all you have. The only thingyour entire business banks on. The only place where cash comes from. Withoutthem you are nothing. So, now you know why you should treat them well, eh?
4. Understand the power of saying yes : They ask yousomething and you should say Yes first. Go figure how you can do whatever youhad promised later, but don't let go of the opportunity to do something forthem.
5. Take Feed back: No matter what product or serviceyou market, you must not forget to take feedback. Oh yes, it might hurt. Butthis kind of hurt can be good for business. Your customers are the mostauthentic, unbiased and straight-forward people when it comes to doing a littlebit of research as to how your product/service performs.
