Driving Around The UK ? Arriving In Norwich.
Simon
After you have enjoyed a lovely drivethrough east Anglia and some pizza in Cambridge you would've arrived inNorwich. You should now be in complete holiday mode and all worries about therenewal of your policyand last week at the office should be forgotten. It is after all why one takesa holiday. So what is to be done in Norwich? Well, let's have a look.
Norwich is famous for having a lot ofbeautiful chapels scattered through the city and the main attraction is withouta doubt the Norwich Cathedral. It is a 900-year old Norman church and is adefinite ?must see?. When it was originally built it was a Catholic church, butat the moment it is a Church of England.
Another ?must see? attraction is NorwichCastle that was originally built by William the Conqueror and it has been, overthe centuries, rebuilt a number of times, but only the keep remains. It used tobe a gaol but today it is used as a museum and art gallery that is very popularwith tourists and locals alike.
The last building that I think you have togo and see while in Norwich is the Dragon Hall on King Street. An old tradinghall turned museum, this Grade 1 listed building was bought by the City Councilin the 70's and they have taken great pride and done a phenomenal job restoringit to its original state.
After Norwich we will head west, across thecountry on our way to Liverpool so get a good night's rest before setting offthe following morning. Remember to never drive when you are extremely tired orfatigued as you could be a risk to yourself and other motorists. So restregularly and make sure that your provider?snumber is on your (fully charged) mobile every morning before you leave, younever know when you might need it.
