The question that we always seem to come to though is, "Is he too young for something more serious if that's what I wanted?" Well, society may want you to believe that it can't be done, and that you having a relationship with a younger man, long or short, is some sort of dirty taboo! The same pertain question would arise as if you were dating a man that would be older, with a few exceptions that we'll talk about later.

There was a surven taken awhile back ago stating in a survey of over 50,000 women, said that about 33% of those women would be open to dating a younger man. Realistically I would hav to say that that number would be closer to 50% if society's ugly big nose didn't always bud into our business.

Getting back to those exceptions now. If you did decide on having an ongoing relationship with this younger man, some of the unique issues you might have that aren't traditional are having to deal with your children's father if your children are still living with you. Also the acceptance of your children and how will it effect them.

Also, what if you have children already living with you? How are they going to take it and has it been enough time for them to heal from your breakup from their Father. And speaking of the Father, can you deal with someday your younger lover meeting your ex when coming over the house to pickup the kids. Are you ready for this?

The smart thing would be to be fair to all parties. Yes this sounds easier than it is, but it's the right decision. Most women already have dealt with enough pain and suffering already with our ex's. Don't make the same mistakes with your young lover. You have the experience here, so make sure you state what your desires are if this fling turns into a relationship.

And what about your existing children? Well, if it get serious their needs to be an open line of communication. And if the father is still in the picture, how will you deal with this. Yes, this might pose a cosmetic problem because you are dating or in a relationship with a younger man to your ex, so take this in consideration.All and all it can work, but you must prepare yourself for these issues before hand. Be fair. If your younger lover knows that this is just a fling, than go have fun.
