I had the fortunate ability to participate in a mastermind group Platinum and one of the members on there was Rick Raddatz. He shared something with us that really hit home to this point.

"It's not as profitable in the mode that you're trying to use it." That was the advice Rick got from Dan Kennedy when he presented the original concept of his idea. Rick shared with the group that the actual first concept he had for Audio Generator was to help married couples.

With the advice from Dan Kennedy, Rick came to a crossroad about where to go next. Instead of focusing Audio Generator on helping married couples, Rick decided to try something new and use it as a marketing tool.

He was going in to the unknown. He had no idea whether it would be successful. He had no idea how to market it to that kind of industry. He was going where he had never gone before, but he embraced that. That was the exciting part of it all.

Remember, when we're choosing between mediocrity and unlimited potential for your success, the difference boils down to doing what's comfortable and doing what's risky.

The bottom line is this: Do you stay to what you know, or do you take a leap of faith and embrace the unknown by pushing the envelope?

What differs creative thinkers and everyone else is their willingness to accept the unknown and push themselves to discover new avenues of doing things.

Creative thinkers are made up of the people who will take the chance and present their new product or business, try an unique marketing strategy and even those who discover new countries. All of these people make the decision to embrace the unknown and explore it.

A better solution is what people who invent new technology believe.

No matter what might stand in their way, creative thinkers have this belief, a self-confidence, that their ability to create ideas will be able to solve any problems.

Having the confidence to generate ideas whenever necessary allows creative thinkers to not fear failure, well not as much as other people. Any problem or obstacle that may arise can be solved by their ability to generate ideas.

When you focus on the potential of what could happen instead of agonizing over what might happen so much more will be accomplished. Creative thinkers are able to do this and therefore are able to overcome any obstacle and develop new products, discover new territories and venture into the unknown.

Imagine this: There are two doors in front of you. Door number one boasts a road that is well taken care of, not very hilly and does not have a lot of turns. By looking at it you can tell your journey would be fairly easy. Also by looking at it you can tell what the destination will be like too and that is not very exciting.

What about door number two? What's behind it is limited only by the reach of your imagination. If you choose to take this path, you can expect it to be wild and completely unpaved. You've got to be a true trailblazer, swinging your machete through the branches. But in return, you're going to go down in history as the one who created the road instead of just following it.

You made the decision to make something happen and people will recognize that. You made the difference that will affect everything around you, your family, friends, business, your future.

Behind door number two is your reputation as a calculated risk taker; a person of great courage, someone who gives a lot in order to get a lot. Door number two is your gateway to your boundless success.
