In feng shui, Qi means flow of energy. The compass is used to determine many things, including the detection of the direction of the flow of qi. Thus, compasses reflect local geomagnetism, which includes geomagnetically induced currents caused by space weather. Moreover, it could be said that it assesses the quality of the local environment and the effects of space weather -- that is, feng shui is qimancy, or qi divination. Further beliefs hold that the heavens influence life on earth. The classical feng shui is typically associated with various techniques like relationship of the five phases or wuxing, wuxing relationships, time and many more. In the end, you can say that it is this technique through which you can lead a great life and overcome the obstacles easily which was earlier difficult to achieve. Hence, it has become an integral part of one's life.
