Scamming is a fact of life for all internet users and erradicating scamming from the internet is simply impossible. Seeking to erradicate scamming can be compared to preventing crime, a laudable idea, but hopelessly unattainable. So it is clearly up to each individual to be smart, to take care and in the field of International Online Dating, it is fair to say even more care should be excercised.

It is an undeniable fact that The Ukraine and other FSU countries have gained a bad reputation through the actions of scammers, but what percentage of the populations of these countries have been involved? In reality a very small number and can we even be sure that these actions have come out of these countries? The truth is we cannot know. 1 person can easily if he, or she wishes post 100 distinct photos and profiles of beautiful women across the net, yes it really is that easy. The truth is scamming will never be erradicted. It is too easy and there are too many people looking to hear that which they want to hear, despite logic and reason dictating that the responses they receive are both unlikely and beyond belief. So far as there are people (mostly men) wanting to believe the improbable, the unbelievable and the impossible, it will continue? Scamming is yet another widely accepted online word, much as geek and surfing the web, but lets be absolutely clear scamming is attempted theft, fraud, or deception.

How easy is it to perpetuate scamming? It's ridiculously easy. We cannot blame the internet, it is as it was intended to be, a free and open channel of comunication Worldwide, without distinction of borders, or frontiers. It is available to all, without discrimination, selection, or bias. No the onus is on us the users, we must use common sense and be careful and we have the intelligence to do that do we not.

What does it take to become a scammer? Put the photo of a drop dead gorgeous woman on the net, pad it out with some wonderful words and that is it. Yes I know it`s too simple, but believe it, or not, it really it is that simple.

The collapse of the FSU was when it came sudden and dissordered and for many extreme finacial hardship set in. Yes there are a, a minority that have become rich, or even super rich, but in general these are materially speaking poor countries.

It has become increaingly clear that an incredibly huge number of very beautiful women live in these countries, but equally there are a lot of smart and highly computer literate people also and there you have it. The beginning of scamming from the FSU. My area of expertise is The Ukraine and within this country the phenomenon of scamming maybe started in Lugansk,, a quite small city, way down in the south east of The Ukraine, it is an area, that until recently was famous for its mineral wealth and mining.

Lugansk has now become famous both within The Ukraine and among many men across the world, why? It was the address used by so many scammers over the years. Is there something different, or distintive about Lugansk? The noticable distinction is not that these ladies are very beautiful, no it is the fact that there are so many of them and as any visitors soon realises they are everywhere. It can be quite a shock for the guy on his first visit? There is nothing special about this city. There are many bigger, better and more beautiful Ukrainian cities. No it simply became the first city to be associated with this phenomenon. My friends from this city tell me that the practise of scamming began about 10 years ago, within Lugansk and these guys made a lot of money.

What did it take, it was so easy. Put a photo of a beautiful lady online; If they had the skill, intelligence and ability to concoct romantic and resposive responces they could be very convincing. We are talking of very intelligent and creative people here and many of them were able to produce very convincing replys to the letters. With these skills and their intelligence they were away. We men have always been attracted to a pretty face, a finely shaped female body and so in the early days it was jackpot time. The beauty of the ladies posted on the net led to a swarm of interest and traffic and the recipients, men or women (who will ever know?) could not believe their luck and soon the money began to pour in.

Before we jump in with our outrage and our criticism, we should remember as I have stated above that this is a part of the world materially deprived and the duped, robed, or conned guys were in general from the 1st world, yes the rich guys. Lets back track. The FSU collapsed both suddenly and chaotically and many of the FSU countries like The Ukraine were in dire material circumstances. Gradually through the increasing Worldwide usage and acceptence of the internet it became apparent that the beauty of these ladies could be marketed, that they had a value.

Who is to blame, the beautiful women, or the gullible guys? It seems to me to be a 50/50 situation and if you are a guy that has been duped, I am sorry, but that is how it seems to me.

How many genuine and beautiful ladies are there in the Ukraine and other FSU countries seeking love with a man from another country? There are in truth many, very many and it should be remembered that the actions of the minority has worked both ways. The breakdown of trust and the rise of suspicion has affected these ladies just as much as it has the men that are so attracted to them. How to find and contact one?

Online Dating is now hugely popular Worldwide and there are now some extremely successful dating sites with Worldwide memberships running into millions. These sites are now huge with millions of users around the world and it is largely due to their, efforts, profesionalism and integrity that online dating is now mainline and socially acceptable. Why should you not seek your Russian, or Ukrainian lady from these sites? Due to their own success they are all automated and self registering systems and whilst I know they have very stringent built in safegaurds and controls, a clever scammer ( and most are very clever) can slip through and into their system? I,m sure that many of these sites would agree that due to the history and the high insidence of scamming from FSU countries a different approach is necessary. A very hands on and personal approach and an individual vetting and verification process for each individual woman wishing to enrol to the Dating Agency.

Russia & The Ukraine have to be considered as distinct and apart, in part due to the poor reputation they have (in my opinion unfairly) aquired and it is only through a very personal one on one process of verification and validification that you can feel both confident and secure. A Ukraine based dating, or matchmaking agency that physically interviews each individual lady, photographs each individual lady and establishes the authtenticity of each individual lady before allowing them to enrol. There is quite obviously substancially more work in a tightly controlled Dating Agency in which each woman is personally interviewed before being accepted and this will be reflected in the membership fees. Equally if you need to find your soulmate at no cost a Russian woman is not for you, as the very cost of visiting her and helping move country will not be cheap! No with a good Russian, or Ukraine based Agency at least you can be sure that it is the real thing. So you pay your money and you make your choice.
