Autoresponders And Articles
Ben Heart
Articles are used to provide information and get the reader to click on the link at the end of the article for more information. This is an excellent way to build your online business. Informative articles provide the reader with a specific topic that they may have been searching for. The end of the article should contain a resource box that includes a web page that initiates action by the reader to find out more. The webpage is where the actual sale will take place; not in the article.
You can also include an autoresponder email in the article resource box. When the reader clicks on the autoresponder, they will get an immediate response from you. This will look very professional to the reader or it might anno y some. For the most part, this is an effective way to introduce an ecourse, free report, free download or another way to get the reader to take specific action.
Your autoresponder email can also contain a direct sales message, but this is not advisable because you want to start a relationship with the reader; not turn them off.
Start your autoresponder email with more information for the reader and a prompt to possibly subscribe to a newsletter or ecourse. With the reader's email address, you can make further contact and follow up. Make sure to include the sales page of your website at the end of the autoresponder email.
Autoresponder marketing is ideal if you do it wisely. You don't want to annoy anyone so you have to be very subtle and it may take time to close the sale, but in the end you may have a loyal customer. I am sure you get autoresponder emails all the time from other marketers. Look at their technique especially those who are able to grab your attention.
These types of articles with autoresponders are great to use with newsletter publishers, on websites and in article directories. This is one of the best ways to market your service or your product.
Begin by setting each of your articles up in your autoresponder. It is important that each article have its very own autoresponder address, so you will need an autoresponder service that will allow you to do this. Next, make a master list of your articles, with the autoresponder address for each article listed beside the title. You can even add descriptions of the articles on your master list if you want to.
The autoresponder in your article can work magic to your sales production. Once the person clicks on the autoresponder, they should get a message from you inviting them to subscribe to your ecourse or newsletter. The rest is up to you; to follow up with them every other day or every three days.
Never start with a sale. Build the person's interest. Offer some vital information, free download just for subscribing or some unique gift that will let them take the action you desire. Your second autoresponder email should build on how your product or service can provide more information or solve a specific problem for the reader. At the end of the last message, the reader should be convinced that you are their friend and will want to do business with you.
