Traveling Around The Vast World
Dexter Bedd
It may be astonishing to many but there are quite a number of people out there who have never traveled out of one hundred or even two hundred miles from where they currently live within the last three years. Strange isn't it? They choose to spend their vacations, weekends and holidays lounging around inside their homes as their precious free times goes to obvious oblivion. I don't see how they can commit in staying home and not go out and see the rest of the world with traveling becoming more affordable to the mass public.
Traveling is fine, but you're probably wondering how you are going to get to your destination, right? Of course you are. I mean the most obvious choice of traveling is by car, isn't it? But with gas prices going higher and higher as they have never gone higher before, you probably think that it's going to cost an arm and a leg to turn this into a reality. Yes, traveling is going to cost money, but in no way does it have to put you into devastating debt.
The entire concept of being able to travel is that you have money that you slowly saved up for the sole purpose of splurging it on yourself. I mean without knowing any luxuries in your life it can be quite boring and if life becomes boring it can affect your ability to function as what the mainstream population has deemed as normal.
Alright, so you've wanted to travel for a while now but it's still money that is the issue. What most people tend to do is that they slowly save up part of their salary little by little so that it can slowly accumulate into a large sum. This method can take a few months and even years but the longer you wait, the bigger the amount you can spend on an exotic adventure for yourself. I heard New Zealand is nice.
Traveling is becoming easier and easier with the implementation of the computer and internet. People can book their flights, hotel rooms and reserve just about anything else that might help them enjoy their dream vacation even more. Also with the reduced costs of the businesses having to pay their employees if they had to sell their services from conventional methods, the businesses have made it even more affordable to the consumers.
However, not everyone has free time like others. Some people are extremely busy and don't have weeks of free time and maybe only have a couple weekends off. However for most of these people, they can take advantage of their situations and use it as a vacation themselves. Most people that come to mind that have nearly zero free time to go traveling to their leisure are people who need to go on business trips all the time or are enlisted in the military.
Luckily for most of these people they can use their disadvantages as their advantages. Most of the people that I know that are enlisted in the military have it so that they are transferred to many various parts of the world for a couple years at each location. Think of it as an extended vacation. Normally if they didn't join the military they wouldn't have even dreamed of living in some exotic foreign country and yet they are. As for people who are going on business trips all the time, I'm pretty sure they can spend a few hours or even a whole day to themselves so they can go and spend their time in leisure.
