One of the first things you will need to know is the occasion and when will it need to be sent. Once you know the occasion for the gifts you will know who the recipients will be and how many gifts will be required. Now you can figure a budget for the corporate gifts.

With the group of recipients, the occasion and a budget you are ready to start selecting the gifts you will want to send. There are many different kinds of gift items, so you will need to give careful consideration as to the type of gift, but remember to keep the recipients in mind. If the recipients are to be clients, then a gift, which will represent the services of your company will be good, but if the recipients are to be employees or staff members then you will want to find something related to their work or home life. If the reason for the gift is a special occasion, and will not include every client or every employee you may want to go for something, which will sit on their desk and serve a purpose, even it is a picture frame/clock. Every time the client looks at the picture of his family, it will remind him of your company. The same goes for the employee. They will appreciate a picture frame/clock and will be reminded of why he got it and of course who gave it to him. If the occasion is of a little more personal nature, the gift will need to fit the occasion. For example an important client has a daughter getting married and the company is sending a gift. The occasion may be a little personal, but the gift still should not be of a personal nature. A toaster for the newlyweds is not personal.

Now you have made your choice as to the corporate gift you will be sending. You will need to find a location to make the purchase. You will want the retailer or supplier to give you the quality product you are expecting to send to the recipients. If you need help with this project because you don't have the time, give the job of obtaining the gifts to one or two people so the job will be done efficiently and on time. Most of the merchants will gift wrap the items and will deliver them or mail them to the recipients. If you find the merchant is not getting the gifts to the correct recipients or you would prefer to have the job done yourself, you will have to have them sent or delivered to your office location so you will be able to make the arrangements for their delivery. Remember to include the proper note card so the recipients will know who sent the items.
