Asian includes so many contrasting groups that it comes close to being meaningless. Asians who live abroad are perhaps more liberal than their counterparts who still live in their country of birth. For example, Asian women commonly love outside their race, as do black men, while it is rare that Asian men and black women love outside their race.

East Asians are seen as the most feminine, allowing for more dating choices for girls and fewer for men. In fact, I met a Chinese-American woman who once claimed that all non-Asians interested in East-Asian women must have a fetish of various sort!!

Relationships should be based on mutual affection and love, not race. At this point in human evolution and enlightenment, we should be long past prejudicial attitudes and antiquated ideas about interracial relationships. Various folk respond to this pressure by trying to hide the relationship.
