That being said, do you still feel like your business is growing at a snail's pace?

If it is any consolation, that is a very common feeling for new Internet marketers. Unfortunately, the sad fact about all this is that hard work alone is not enough. Wouldn't it be great if all we had to do was work hard and success would fall into our laps!

One problem which clogs the road to success is lack of focus on just one or two core projects. Perhaps you think your abilities to multi-task are greater than they are. Honestly, "multi-tasking" is WAY over rated! Remember: Relentless FOCUSED Action! Take a hard look at how your perceive yourself. Are you over estimating your ability to get things done effectively? Are you leaving too many loose ends too often?

Another problem is that you may be over-thinking the process. Some of my most successful students aren't trying to invent a better mouse trap. They simply plod away at the most mundane aspects of Internet marketing. I see too many beginning marketers spending way too much time searching for that better mouse trap instead of working hard at the basics of Internet marketing. Do not try to reinvent the wheel! Spend your time, at least early on, working at the fundamentals which have been tried and proven over and over by countless successful marketers. This is the surest way to get traction with Internet marketing.

I cannot tell you the number of times I have kicked myself for not putting more effort into the fundamentals earlier on in my career. A few examples for me were list building and article writing. I know you KNOW what you should be doing with your time. It is just a matter of being disciplined and following through with what needs done.

One thing I want you to always remember is that success almost always comes in small bits and pieces. I know you wish it would hurry up and happen. However, this desire is what creates the "search for the better mouse trap" problem and the jumping from project to project. I can almost guarantee you that success will come one small piece at a time and add up slowly over time. Therefore, it only makes sense that you should spend the bulk of your time doing things which will result in small successes!

- Work hard at just a few proven marketing methods you enjoy and are good at.

- Keep at it and learn from your small successes!

Relax and stay positive. Nothing good ever comes out of desperation. Internet marketing requires creative thinking and the complete belief in coming success!
