Another Small Issue With Biodiesel
Garko
Bad news for diesel users Inhaled diesel fumes set in motion a stress response in the brain. This type of reaction might result in harmful long-term consequences for brain function in people situated in areas with high smog.
Tiny bits of soot, or nanoparticles, can travel up the nose and lodge in the brain. It is conceivable that this invasion could interfere with normal brain function and perception processing.
10 male test subjects, between the ages of eighteen and thirty nine, were placed in a gas chamber(?) which was then filled with tailpipe fumes from a diesel engine for a solid hour. After about 30 minutes, EEG brain wave patterns showed a stress response, is suggesting to researches abnormal reactions in information processing in the brain cortex.
That indicates that breathing smog over the long term not only results in higher potential of being afflicted with lung cancer or cardiac or respiratory difficulties, it possibly also elevate your risk of nerve and brain diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease, according to this new study.
What occurs when you pollute your brain?
A study recently published found that the molecular toxicity of diesel exhaust causes oxidative stress-mediated inflammation in your brain cortex. (It has been considered true for a while now that inflammation is the primary causative element in both pulmonary and systemic afflications from inhalation of diesel fumes.)
Your brain has a high level of sensitivity to damage caused by oxidative stress.
For example, oxidative stress appears to be, to some degree, the villain in diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.
This type of pressure in the brain cortex is also found in various other psycho-pathological ailments for example:
headaches
post-traumatic stress disorder
the feeling known as "burnout"
traumatic brain injury
Researchers are finding that the beta waves in the test subjects in this study were significantly affected, But not the alpha, theta or delta waves.
What is the implication of that?
Well, here is a quick intro on the different wavelengths in your brain (this will not qualify you to leave here and perform brain surgery on anyone after this short intro), the electronic waves in your brain range from the most activity to the least activity. Beta waves are activated when your brain is aroused and aggressively engaged in mental activities. These waves travel the most rapidly of the four brainwaves.
When you are in active dialogue with someone, your brain is in beta. A lawyer, orator or teacher is in high beta (with the exception of McCain). Anytime you're actively engaged in your work, you're in beta. So this is definitely not a phase of brain activity you'd want to have impeded. Those engaged in the "dumbing down of America" - they would certainly want to impede your beta waves. But that is a topic for a different time and venue, eh?
The special photography used in the tests conducted showed clearly how the left side of the frontal cortex is shown as brighter on the test subjects that endured the diesel fuel exposure, compared to the control group.
They postulate this effect could be getting caused by the presence of nanoparticles.
What it does show is that contaminated particles from diesel and other sources in the air are a serious concern that means hazards for both your body and your brain.
If you wish to help clean the environment for your own better health and the health of your family and loved ones I have a great idea!
is providing information at a low price which people can use at home to create a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their automobile runs on.
What this does is make bite sized particles out of the ones that the system uses as fuel. Therefore the engine gets to use much more of the fuel.
With WATER4GAS you can reasonably expect to improve your MPG by 30-50% or even more. Those goblets must have been pretty darn big in some engines before. But with WATER4GAS they are made consumable so you can improve your MPG.
It also helps make emissions significantly cleaner.
