Ladies, just leave the heels packed away. It doesn't matter how "comfortable" they are, heels are just not practical (especially in an emergency situation or if you have to run to catch your plane). Stick to no heels or keep them very low.
Avoid the white and lights during travel. It never fails. Just as sure as you put on your best white shirt so that you will be ready for the meeting when you arrive, the plane will hit turbulence spilling your soda all over your outfit. If you had been wearing something dark then that spill would just vanish away in a few minutes.
Synthetics may not wrinkle, but they also don't breath. Stick to natural fibers. Not only will the natural fibers of cotton hide potential stains better than synthetics, but they will also be more comfortable during the flight.
Leave the tight pants or skin tight skirt for another time and another place. Stay loose and give your body room to breath and it will be much easier for you to enjoy your travel experience.
Even if you are traveling alone there will be other people on the plane with you. Skip the perfume or cologne until you reach your destination. Between the soap, shampoo, lotion and every thing else that most people apply on a daily basis, the plane will be scented enough.
Make your travel experience more enjoyable. Take some time to think about how you are dressing - not only for your comfort and safety, but for the comfort and safety of the people who are traveling with you.
