You want to sell, right? Sure. But like I've mentioned before, the best way to sell a customer is to gain their trust, reassuring them that purchasing from you will be a decision they won't regret.
The best way to do this is to pre-sell. You want your website visitors to click on the "Buy It Now" button, but only after they have become comfortable with your business and they have developed respect and trust for you and your business.
A good option is to put articles or some other valuable content on your website to attract readers in your niche' market.
Let me give you some examples:
-Offer free downloadable articles for your visitors to read
-Provide a newsletter for visitors to sign up for so that you can "stay in touch"
- Create a web poll to get visitors involved - the questions must relate to your site's theme
-Have a feedback form for visitors to offer suggestions
-Create a testimonials page to show previous buyers' positive reactions to your site
- Give "Helpful Hints" or "Buying Tips" to provide something of value for free
- Set up a weekly promotion to entice visitors to return to your site on a regular basis
These are just a few things that you could easily incorporate into your selling process. When your visitors RETURN to your site regularly, you drastically increase your chances of making a sale compared to a first time visitor who hits your site.
This mini-course you are reading now is an example of "selling content". I'm establishing trust and credibility with the reader, yes, hoping that it will result in product sells of some sort down the road that are mutually beneficially for us both.
I recommend using Aweber to send out scheduled emails with your valuable content. That is what I am using with this mini-course.
