Whether or not you believe in global warming everyone agrees that the environment should be protected. And this article tells you where the solutions are? and aren't! . Biofuel, as you probably know or can guess from the name, is any energy source derived from living organisms of any kind. The most common biofuel is a blend of gasoline called E85, and this is a mixture in a ratio of 15:85 gasoline:ethanol. But the actual ratio is subject to change due to the outside temperatrue and it might be better named E70-85. During cold weather, more gasoline needs to be added to the mixture to ensure the fuel works properly, so E85 is at least 70% ethanol.
The fact that E85 needs 15-30% gasoline in the mixture is not the major problem, that factor is really not such a big deal. If everyone was using E85 and the use of gasoline got cut by 70% that would be a tremendous advantage. .
The real problems with Ethanol follow? The shift to biofuels is causing a global food shortage beyond the usual. The series of bad results from the decision to use ethanol as alternative fuel are fascinating, almost like a Rube Goldberg invention gone horribly wrong. Corn is the primary food base from which ethanol is derived. Since corn is grown and harvested by farmers, there is a finite amount of land that can be used to produce corn. The demand for the corn crop has grown substantially due to the push for biofuels while the supply has struggled to keep up. Corn is more profitable to grow now due to the increased demand, so those in agriculture are growing more corn at the sacrifice of wheat and soy. Instead of a shortage in one staple crop, corn, there is now a shortage in two additional food staples: wheat and soy. This brings on problems of great magnitude in the lack of land on which to grow corn and other staples, soaring food prices and, yes, potential starvation of the poor.
Don't think that this is just affecting poor people though. If you eat food then it affects YOU. You know that the price of food has increased partially due to the increase in the price of diesel which is used in the trucks that transport it, right? In the same fashion, the price of corn has jumped significantly - around 30% already this year ? due to the push of biofuels. Isn't it the poor that our friends on the environmentally-friendly left always want to help by taking our hard-earned tax dollars and redistributing them to the needy? The biofuel solution, pushed hard by the same folks is hurting the poor, hungry, underprivileged people of the world the most.
With food prices causing the poor to become even more destitute, the government will inevitably suck more out of our paychecks while anyone who complains about it will be hit as ?unsensitive and selfish? . Wow! It is almost as if it was all designed that way with malice aforethought by the rich and the elite.
In the next 20 years or so, the world population is predicted to rise to such a high level that a 50 percent increase in food production would be needed. By 2080, food production would have to double. But the rush to biofuels - allegedly good for the environment - translates in reality to a reallocation of fertile land to growing food for energy purposes.
The increase in demand has already causative of the substantial increase in the prices of basic crops, especially wheat, over the past two years.
Biofuels have been promoted as a solution for reducing the greenhouse fuel emissions pumped out by fossil fuels but recent research have been skeptical of how much benefit that they might have when all elements of the equation, such as the use of pesticides and such on the crops, areconsidered. Critics have been upset by the rapid destruction of tropical rainforests, which have been cleared to allow farmers to grow biofuel crops.
Laying waste to forest landDeforestation has been estimated to account for roughly 18 percent of the planet's greenhouse gas emissions and many scientists consider the practice of tearing down forest land in order to grow crops for biofuel to be insane.
There are basically three alternatives to us. One is to boycott ethanol. Another is to expose global warming as the hoax that it is and there is great progress on this front, even today. And the other is something else entirely.
So here is the real solution!
is providing information at a low price which people can use in their garage or wherever to build a small gizmo which instills hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car runs on.
What this does is make bite sized particles out of the particles that the engine burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size it gets to use much more of it.
By doing this you can reasonably expect to reduce your gasoline usage by thirty to fifty percent or even more. Those goblets "musta" been pretty "blankin'" huge in some engines before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can reduce your gasoline usage.
It also helps to lower emissions significantly.
This package of info has been purchased by over NINE THOUSAND car owners already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?
