Coasting To Better Sales With Printed Coasters

Printed Coasters are great for any business because, simply put, they increase sales. Isn’t that what promotional products are all about? Many people, however, don’t actually use promotional products to their full potential. Here’s how to make them work for you:
•Don’t be afraid to hand them out…everywhere. What’s the use of printed coasters if you don’t actually hand them out? This may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised at how easy it is to forget about your box of printed coasters in the back closet. Don’t let this happen! Take printed coasters to every event, and hand them out regularly. Also remember to keep the box in a convenient location for all employees who may need to grab a few for distribution. Out of site, out of mind—so be careful with storage!
•Come up with a sales pitch. Handing out printed coasters just isn’t enough. It’s super important to have a sales pitch that people will remember. If you’re attending an event to hand out your printed coasters, make sure that you can grab people’s attention by talking about your company as you give them a coaster. It’s no good if they walk away with the promotional coaster and yet know nothing about your company. Make sure that you start talking as they approach your table or booth and don’t stop talking until they walk away. Shake hands, explain the benefits, and give a 10-second review on why they need to buy your product or service. If needed, practice what you’re gong to say in the mirror a few times. It can be harder then you may think!
•Give Printed Coasters to your employees. Your company’s employees should have all your promotional products actually. Remember, the people who work for you are your biggest asset. By handing out coasters for your employees to use in their offices and at home, they’ll be more likely to talk about their job to others. And, any mention of your company in a positive light is good advertising. You just can’t beat word of mouth!
•Don’t just hand them out to potential customers. Repeat business is important! If you want to make the most of your printed coasters and other promotional items, you should hand them out to your current clients as well. Give them a reminder of why you’re so great and why they should call you again. If possible, keep connected to everyone who’s ever used your company. Positive, lasting relationships make a real difference in sales.
Customize your coasters as much as possible. What works for one company might not work well for you, so keep in mind that your printed coasters should be completely customized for your target audience. Age, economic status, marital status, and other lifestyle issues come into play here. At the very least, make sure that the printed coasters you order include you name, all relevant contact information, and logo. The more ways people have to remember you the better!
