People are always attracted to free stuff, and you can advertise the free subscription option elsewhere. Make the free subscription tempting by offering discounts to registered customers. When you first establish your website it's important to make sure that it's listed in every relevant online directory, but it can also be worth your while to set up an online directory of your own. An online directory of companies offering products and services which relate to yours but do not directly compete can be a valuable resource for customers who are then more likely to buy something on your website whilst they're there. What's more, you can ask companies registering with your online directory to provide reciprocal links to your site.
A third great way of attracting visitors to your website is to offer them a free ebook. Ebooks are easy to put together. If you write an ebook about a subject related to your products or services, you can keep on plugging your business to readers. A ebook also makes you look like an expert, making visitors more likely to buy from you.

Post all the benefits of participating in your online community on your web site. You could write it like you're writing an ad for a product you're selling. You (the owner of the online community) should participate regularly. Post information that will benefit the other people. This will show them you care about
your online community members.
