Anyone can become a hypnotherapist. As we speak, there are no laws stopping you from calling yourself a hypnotherapist. This usually means that you could start your own business tommorrow. You should keep in kind that without the right tools and training, you will not last long.

You should be able to bring a client in and out of the state of hypnosis. Anyone can become good at hypnosis so long as you are able to talk effectively, which can be learned over time. This is true of any course in any industry or field, it is wonderful to know what you are doing something but you should also know how to do it. You should try and find courses that offer basic psychology and psychotherapy themes.
