The Wildcats lineup this season looks pretty good. Keeping the scores up and making the grade isn't just about practice, it's about putting in the time and showing the skill against the competition on the court. The Wildcats on the court this season include guard/forward Dwayne Anderson, forward Shane Clark, guard Jason Colenda, forward Dante Cunningham, center Casiem Drummond, guard Corey Fisher, forward Taylor King, forward Antonio Pena, guard Scottie Reynolds, guard Corey Stokes, forward/center Maurice Sutton, forward Frank Tchuisi and forward Russell Wooten.



This year's Wildcats team is coached and supported by head coach Jay Wright, associate head coach Patrick Chambers, assistant coach Doug West, assistant coach Jason Donnelly, manager of basketball operations Keith Urgo, administrative intern Kyle Neptune, head athletic trainer Jeff Pierce, strength coach Lon Record, strength and conditioning coach Justus Galac, strength and conditioning coach Stephen King, equipment manager Lionel Brodie, assistant equipment manager Tom Dunphy, men's basketball staff Erin Wade and men's basketball staff Courtney Scrib.

The rest of this season's games for the Wildcats will be against Pittsburgh in Philadelphia, Cincinnati in Villanova, Providence in Providence, Syracuse in Philadelphia, Marquette in Villanova, West Virginia in Morgantown, Syracuse in Syracuse, DePaul in Chicago, Georgetown in Philadelphia, Notre Dame in South Bend and Providence again in Villanova.

In March, the Big East Championship games will be held on March 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in New York at Madison Square Garden (times to be determined).

The Big East Conference thus far has the Wildcats holding 15 wins and 4 losses. These break down into 9 wins and 1 loss at home, 4 wins and 2 losses and 2 wins and 1 loss neutrally. Cunningham leads the Wildcats team with an average of 16.6 point scored per game. Reynolds is following close behind Cunningham's lead with 15.8 points.

Stokes is at the top of the 3-point percentage list with an average of .453. Reynolds is a not-so-close .373. You can easily consider Cunningham as the Wildcats' most valuable player. Cunningham holds the top spots for the most steals with 1.7 per game, the most rebounds with 7.2 rebounds per game, the most defensive rebounds with 4.7 defensive rebounds per game, the most blocked shots with 1.4 blocks per game, the best rebound average with 7.2 average rebounds per game and the most offensive rebounds with 2.5 offensive rebounds per game.

Thus far the Wildcats have played 19 games. Statistics on their performance reflect 62.2 points per game, field goal percentage of 38.9 per game, three point percentage of 32.3, free throw percentage of 67.3 per game, an average of 32.1 rebounds per game, an average of 12.2 assists per game, an average of 15.0 turnovers per game, an average of 5.7 steals per game, an average of 3.0 blocks per game and a turnover ratio of 0.8 assists.

The Pavilion, which opened in 1986, is where both the Men's and Women's basketball teams hold their games. The Pavilion is both beautiful and functional together in one.
