To illustrate the essential foundations of what makes us well, I am going to start this section by explaining the basic concepts of achieving vibrant health and why good nutrition is vital for this process.
Digestion of foods and drinks, in particular, foods and drinks that are broken down to supply your blood with high quality nutritional needs, creates blood that is rich with nourishment that can be transported to all parts of your body. This process is liken to building a strong foundation of a house. A strong foundation will support the structure to construct and reconstruct vibrant health with every meal that you eat. However, good circulation of blood is crucial in order for the essenials to fuel your body with genuine health.
Creating good circulation through exercise is an essential part of the formula for great health. Introducing nutritious, healthy blood into every area of your body will allow your body to heal itself by providing the fuel it needs to function properly and remove waste. Every organ in our body must essentially do three things to work properly. These three things are:
1. Receive good nutrition through healthy blood,
2: Utilize the nutrients from the broken down nutrients to carry out specific cellular functions.
3: Remove unneeded by-products & wastes from the functions mentioned above.
Eating foods that are not in alignment with good nutrition, inhibits our bodies from performing certain cellular functions that eliminate built up toxins, including fat. With this excess buildup, we can become worn down to the point that our immune systems ability to fight illness is compromised. Moreso, losing weight becomes difficult.
...Today, more people use diet products and eat more diet foods than at any other time in history, and yet we are fatter than at any other time in history. Man, history needs to change! With all these "amazing" new products and " revolutionary" diet systems flooding the marketplace, don't you find it odd that America is still getting fatter and fatter? The obesity rate in America is climbing out of control, and obesity among children is rising at an alarming rate.
Why this is happening is definitely multifaceted and intricate and as a result of all these new fads we've moved away from what is natural and healthy for us. It can't be argued that some of these products and fads actually do work, but at what risk? Your health? Your energy? A lessened life span? Also, many of these fad diets and weight loss schemes can not be sustained in the long run, and eventually weigh our bodies, our minds and our emotions down so much that we are left off worse then before: more fat, depressed and definitely alot less healthy. Yet, we keep looking for that holy grail, that one product or diet that will finally work. But as you may know personally, it only leaves us more baffled.
There is a big difference between being healthy and being thin. Your body and therefore, your health demand a minimum variety of six basic nutrients, which include:water, protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals. Eating a wide range of natural foods is the best way to help you fight off disease, feel great, and look your best. Now, isn't that what you are truly looking for?
For now, this may seem like too easy of an answer, but come back to natural healthy whole foods. I bet if you sit quiet for a few moments and listen to your body, you'll be able to hear how it's been craving natural foods to eat, not that big mac or taco supreme which are seriously lacking nutrients, creating stagnation in your blood and only perpetuating a cycle of "yo yo" binging and starving. Feed your body with whole foods and your body will reward you by helping you feel full faster and giving you more energy for your daily functions!
Weight Loss Muscle Building
Routines for Muscle Building
Lifting free weights is always an excellent option when you are looking to build muscle. Doing the correct exercises for your body type as you add more weight on as you progress will net results that will be striking. Calisthenics such as reverse crunches, dips, pull ups or push ups are also ways to increase your muscle mass and endurance.
Your Diet
To have the most defined body as possible involves nutrition. You will need to cut out all unnecessary fats and carbs and eat a diet that is high in lean proteins such as fish or white meat turkey and chicken. Eggs are great for when you are looking to build your muscle mass.
Sleep and Other Factors
Getting the correct amount of sleep each night is also conducive to building muscle mass. If you are tired and not feeling your best, your energy levels will be low and you will not get all that you can out of your workout. Try adding an extra hour of sleep to your routine nightly and see how you perk up when you go to the gym.
Another piece of advice for building muscle is to isolate certain muscle masses that you work on a daily basis. Do abs and gluts today and shoulders and arms tomorrow and before you know it you will be looking like an Adonis!
