Doing 500 crunches a day will only exhaust you but it will not get rid of the fats if your diet remains unchanged. Your body will not burn the fats stored in that spot you are targeting.

A balanced body workout addresses this. With a balanced workout that takes in all parts of your body, fat is burned off and not just in one area. A balanced weight loss regimen is a more integrated system of reducing the fats in the body. In the process, you will also sculpt your body and gain muscle tone.

Only after establishing a good diet and meeting cardio requirements can you focus on abdominal exercises.

3. There Are No Shortcuts.

Miracle diets, pills and potions are mere shortcuts that will lead you to a frustrating dead end. If a healthy body is your goal, you have to work for it. You have to earn it.

While we are living in a fast world with the advancement of technology, your body is still as it was created and no technology can change its basic requirements. You have to be grounded as to what is naturally required by the body such as healthy diet and regular exercise.

4. Health and Fitness Require Commitment.

Your dedication to the health of your body is a lifelong commitment. Even if you achieved a great looking body, it will not remain so forever if you neglect proper diet and lifestyle. Your body needs to be loved and taken care of, regularly.

If you depend on the spot reduction claims, you are headed for more disappointment. Spot reducing weight loss claims give folks false hope that simply is not based on science. So, if you really want a healthy body, start an exercise program and make some changes in your diet. This will give you a holistic approach that will improve your body and your outlook on life as well.
