What Causes Dilated Pupils

    View:
What Causes Psoriasis?

Psoriasis may be one of the oldest recorded skin conditions. It was probably first described around 35 AD. Some evidence indicates an even earlier date. Yet, until recently, little was known about psoriasis.

While scientists still do not fully know what causes psoriasis, research has significantly advanced our understanding. One important breakthrough began with the discovery that kidney-transplant recipients who had psoriasis experienced clearing when taking cyclosporine. Since cyclosporine is a potent immunosuppressive medication, this indicates that the immune system is involved.

Can Genetics Cause Psoriasis?

Family History. Some people who have a family history of psoriasis never develop this condition. Research indicates that a "trigger" is needed. Stress, skin injuries, a strep infection, certain medications, and sunburn are some of the known potential triggers. Medications that can trigger psoriasis are anti-malarial drugs, beta-blockers (medication used to treat high blood pressure and heart conditions), and lithium. Dermatologists have seen psoriasis suddenly appear after a person takes one of these medications, gets a strep infection, or experiences another trigger.

Phototherapy Treatment for Psoriasis

Phototherapy involves exposing the skin to wavelengths of ultraviolet light under medical supervision. Treatments usually take place in a doctor's office or psoriasis clinic. However, it is possible to follow a treatment regimen at home with a unit prescribed by your doctor. The key to success with phototherapy is consistency.

Is psoriasis contagious?

No. You can't catch psoriasis from another person or give it to someone by touching them, and you can't spread it to other parts of your body.

For years people with psoriasis had options that were either time consuming or had difficult side effects. However the new science of biologics is offering treatments that may help people not only manage their disease but also clear psoriasis for months and sometimes years.
What Causes Dilated Pupils
With $20 billion per annum in public funding the modern earth cult can easily spend some nickels to attract cult members. I can well imagine that soon, on prime time TV, [or a gay sitcom], will be the tax-payer funded eco-cult recruitment, ?You must join us? advert. It will show a wide expanse of meadow populated by masses of automatons with arms outstretched resembling a fuehrer cult rally. Their laconic voices will repeat the intonation, ?save the earth goddess?save the earth goddess?? The camera will sweep in and out showing mindless, fixated faces with dilated pupils staring upwards, saliva seeping out of their mouths, whitening their black tunics?.

Children will be weeping. A polluted river will wind through the copse of blackened trees in the background. Dead animals and dying polar bears shall litter the fringes. The sky will be somber and dense with particulates, interspersed with flickers of ominous lightening. In the foreground the massive throng's chant will get louder as Al Gore the high priest enters his dais and raises his arms to the sky. The crowd will writhe together in communal ecstasy. Frenzied voices will chant louder as the first virgins are sacrificed and their blood used to soak and propitiate mother earth?then more are killed?capitalists; deniers; rationalists; Jews; Christians;?and then more and more?the blood will flow, the chanting will wail?

In the midst of the bloody carnage a voice will break in and declare that you the viewer should join the earth cult and receive for a limited time only: ?a snappy haircut, the true-believers guide to the Gaia cult; and sensible cardigans and footwear which are all the rage on gay sitcoms. Kool-aid will be free. Lobotomy mandatory. Oprah Winfrey approves.? So says the disclaimer. State owned TV and tax payer funded pundits applaud. Civilization collapses.

The mother Gaia cult has long antecedents in the history of failed civilizations. Yet with $20 billion or more in annual tax payer financing the modern eco-cult has plenty of resources to ensure a high recruitment level. It can buy off politicians; ostracize ?deniers?; and brainwash school children through the mindless fantasies of eco-doom which are taught in public schools. It can ally itself with low cultural stupidity and liberal-left wing hogwash to realign society from individualism to communal Marxism.

The new modern pagan eco-cult is led by high-priests who are at least in part, resolutely anti-Christian and irreligious. Their sect is also more obnoxious, dangerous and anti-civilisational than the most fundamentalist of Christian sects. As with all pagan earth cults from times past it demands obedience, irrationality and hatred for those outside the cult.

All the high rollers in the modern eco-cult are socialist or Marxist. Maurice Strong, Ted Turner, the denizens of Hollywood and the Useless Nations Organization, Al Gore the eco-whore, George Soros the anti-reality billionaire amongst others, privately fund and force governments to finance the new eco-cult of mother Gaia. The earth cult's pronouncements on temperature, climate change or Globaloney warming, is about as relevant to reality as Islam's belief in the one-world Muslim caliphate; Hitler's obsession with race purity; or the Communist desire at universal domination in the name of class warfare. The eco-cult is just another fascist paganism intent on control.

The extent of the madness inside the eco-cult movement is obvious if you bother to read any of their prophet's deranged pronouncements. For example UN documents on the climate movement depict Christianity as evil ? since it separates humans from the loving earth goddess. Gore in his writings constantly refers to the ?earth spirit?. He and others in the eco-fascist movement regularly call the earth, mother, a living spirit, the global brain, a living organism, and our nurturer. There is little to separate the modern eco-cult rhetoric from that of the Druids; the earth fertility cults which dominated the Near East for 7000 years, or the 2000 year reign of the Oracle at Delphi in central Greece.

A former and now reformed true-believer columnist Alston Chase, warned about 10 years ago that, ?It may be only a matter of time before America becomes a complete theocracy ? a place where, in the name of environmentalism, science and religion fuse with civil authority to rule the populace.? Well maybe the old boy is on to something. The nexus of populism; feminism; communalism; and government control can find no better location than in the environmental movement. Akin to saying that you love babies, the ?I love mother earth? cult wraps itself in the toga of irrational, post modern, psycho-babble to immure it from criticism.

Politicians support the limitation on freedom, capital, markets and individuality in order to force conformity and social conditioning. New age feminists link up with the earth goddess cult to support female virility and emancipation from patriarchal control. Marxists support the earth cult since they see an opportunity at government control; class warfare and by extension wealth appropriation. Internationalists use the mother Gaia cult to further transnational governance and impose limitations on ?rogue? US power. There are endless uses of the Gaia cult for power mongerers.

Therein lies the lesson. It should be painfully obvious that sanctimonious anti-reality posturing is more important to these groups, than actually doing anything concrete to help mother earth. For the assorted rabble of the eco-cult, the earth mother is not the prime concern ? power and wealth control is.

If the eco-cult really desires to improve the condition of their spiritual mother how about this? Make sure poor nations get inside the global trading system since technology and wealth correlate with a clean environment. Recycle your local city's garbage through incineration into electricity. Stop using landfills. Clean up rivers, lakes and streets. Filter all industrial emissions. Push for more nuclear power ? the cleanest and safest power generation we have. Privatize the oceans to stop over-fishing and oceanic destruction. Ask politicians to stop subsidizing inefficient, out of date plants and industries. Get poor people access to clean water and power, so they will not engage in deforestation and clear cutting.

These and many other concrete measures are ignored by the eco-cult of Gaia.

Moralizing about the abstract is such meaningless nonsense. There is no link between Co2 emissions and climate. There is more science supporting a coming ice-age than the reverse. Cultish behavior has never led civilization into the right direction. This is as true of the failed fertility cults of the Near East which were overtaken by advanced centers of capitalism, as it is with Islam, Nazism, Communism or the current madness and hysteria surrounding the ?earth mother?.

It is rather disturbing that in a computerized world people still need to believe in cults. It should be obvious that posturing with abstract theologies will not clean up the environment. Neither will scare mongering nations into disastrous Marxist management. The eco-cult is just another anti-reality program.
