Festivals of various nature from social to religious ones are meant for creating charm in our lives which we celebrate in the entire year on regular intervals. We always look for some of the best festivities to make a difference in our lives. Most of the festivals are an outcome of some religious faith, social norms and or portrayal of regional flavour. Such festivals keep us engaged entire year due to their wonderful chasm. The followers of such trends and the admirers too find it an opportunity to express festivity in organizing these festivals. They take all the pains and hardly do any compromise in organizing them.



Today's cultural megalomania is enriched with the superb and outstanding sobriquets of ancient religious faiths which no more exist but their rituals are still important part of our festivals. These beliefs and traditional values are still with us. Such traditions are internationally recognized as their believers are in abundant number. One such tradition is the concept of an existence of another world and a passageway called spirit plane which the dead souls use as a medium of transportation. The belief has much impact in the human society. It has become universal and is practiced by all and sundry.

Celebrated on October 31 Halloween was incepted in Ireland in the ancient era. The belief goes on that this unique festival has its roots from the Christian's All Saints Day. Its wondrous impact is in its scary practices. In the Irish tradition, this festival is called Samhain (or Syawn). It is significant due to the timing when harvesting season concludes. Having been derived from a typical theme, celebration of Halloween is actually a protective shield from evil spirits which invade peace of living beings on this special day at a time when the layer between dead and alive become thin and evil spirits try to enter in the human world for creating devastation. Although it is celebrated in much fun no authenticity of its belief is searched by now.

It is presumed that evil spirits are restless souls of those who couldn't live longer and died with unfinished ambitions. As they might do resisting acts in frustration by bringing gloom for the living beings in the form of famines and destroying the crops, best measures are done to keep them away and unique strategies are developed to prevent invasion. The religious heads offer peculiar rituals like throwing animal skeletal remains at the bonfires so that spirits can't cross the line. Amusingly, no complete animal is offered. Why it is not done is a mystery? While worshippers perform religious deities, their followers do dramatic activities by wearing scary costumes so that evil souls get hallucinated and confused.

Nowadays, the tradition of wearing scary, ghoulish costumes continue. Every October, costumes retailer would have a roaring good business selling all sorts of scary suits. Many of their customers are from the young ones, who would go trick or treating on Halloween's night. Of course, this portion of the celebration stems from the age old tradition of making offerings to appease these spirits and these days, it would be these young spirits who are the one needing to be appeased. The adults meanwhile would contend with being the ones handing out – no, not animal farm remains – sweets, chocolates and confectioneries, and letting the youngsters have all the fun.

Do they? Not really, of course. Some adults have their own Halloween's party and being adults, these parties would often be laced with a good dose of adult orientation, including sexual elements, thus Halloween sexy costumes are a must for the celebrants. With a good range of costumes to choose from, one would be hard pressed to not be able to find something that would suit the occasion. Women are in a much better position with some of the sexiest adult costumes anywhere.

Those who are not ashamed of showing of ample skin, for example, could not go wrong with wearing Vampirella – the female equivalent of the Count Dracula – whose blood red suit plunges in front, back and slits that goes right up to the waist line. Add fangs – fake ones, of course - to complete the whole package. Wearing Halloween sexy costumes amongst adults is a highlight in such parties. There are no trick or treating involved, but a whole lot of fun and games to celebrate the occasion.
