Women and astrology, that's a funny combination. Both can't live without each other, it seems. Women want to know their future, they want to know it all. They can get real desperate. They want to know where they're heading in life. Because, a woman has very strong basic instincts. She can be mad in love, has bouts of jealously with and without reason. And she can be ruthless in her revenge.
Interestingly, when we asked astrologers around the globe, what women ask them, we got some interesting answers. Here's a sample: Women want to kill out of jealousy, they want to know of a perfect plan, they want to possess their man at any and every cost.
Women will do anything to get a man. Says an astrologer Dan Goodwin, "For a woman her entire existence is a man. Even though women are smarter and have more common sense. They take a lot of time to heal when a relationship is over. For men love is accidental, and for women love is the element. Men are hopeless in love, horrible donkeys in love. They do not know what to say, when to say and how to say. For a woman, love can be about strength, weakness, opportunity, analysis of the guy she is eyeing."
In fact, astrologers, tarot card readers confess women are willing to do anything to get a guy. Says tarot card reader Jodie Foster, "Men aren't a light-hearted issue." While tarot card reader Farris Green adds, "Women are becoming very calculative before saying 'I Do'. They like to weigh their options before going ahead in a relationship, but once they fall in love they are hopelessly in love. It becomes very difficult to handle them then."
And a woman in love when provoked, will do anything. Dan Goodwin adds, Once, this young woman walked into my office and and asked me if I had a scheme for a perfect murder. I'd like you to kill the 'Other Woman' in my man's life with Tantra. There's nothing worse than a woman scorned, I've seen it with my own eyes." It's not just Dan Goodwin, who gets strange requests. Sunita Menon tells us clients often ask her: "when would my mother-in-law die? As long as she's alive, I'll never have peace." Women basically are very insecure. "They also want to know how they can remain beautiful and never age." adds Sunita.
If you think this is bizarre enough, hold on. Michelle Worthy lists more of these weird queries, "once a mother and daughter visited me, the girl asked me if she could have a child of her boyfriend, not her husband."
Why do women get so desparate. Is there no self-respect in heartbreak? Barbara Miller says, "I had this women ask me, I have this man as a keep... I didn't know what to say. I was so shocked. Clients are coming to us with more and more weird things."
Women are becoming obsessive about their careers too. Indecent proposals are freely discussed. Barbara Miller says, "Will sleeping with my boss further my career?" Funnily enough, a group of single women who came to Sunita Menon wanted to start a dating agency. "I guess women are getting very desparate!"
What Women Want From
For generations, there's been a perception that men have an exclusive franchise on sports fandom. We see advertising images of guys sitting at home in front of their television sets, rooting on their favorite teams, or sitting in sports bars with their eyes trained on TV sets over the bar. Sports commentators are almost exclusively men, and the first woman reporter who did an interview in a locker room caused a huge controversy.
Well, times have changed. Women are sports fans, too, and female sports fans are just as enthusiastic about their favorite NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA teams as guys. Like men, women want to express their enthusiasm by wearing sports jerseys adorned with the numbers and names of their favorite players. Historically, though, women who wanted jerseys have been forced to settle for oversize men's sizes and cuts. The result? A far cry from a fashion statement.
Luckily for female fans, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA teams have begun to sit up and take notice, recognizing that women constitute a good portion of their fan bases. They've also discovered that women are longing for jerseys that reflect women's enthusiasm for sports, but that also have a feminine twist. Increasingly, female sports fans are finding that there are a number of jerseys created specifically with women in mind. Today, a woman can find a pink jersey, a vibrant jersey, a fashion jersey, or a glitter jersey from virtually any team in the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA.
Breaking out from the pack in women's sports apparel is actress Alyssa Milano, known for her role in the WB's "Charmed" and for her love of baseball. Not only does Alyssa Milano have season tickets to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but she also has her own MLB blog. Moreover, she's gone to the next level and has designed a line of women's MLB apparel. Called "touch," her line features fan wear that exudes femininity.
For example, the "touch" women's criss-cross white tank top features a shelf bra with a screened logo in the center of the chest area. The scoop back features criss-cross spaghetti straps that give the top its feminine appeal. Her baseball jerseys are tradition with a twist: the white body and colored 3/4-length sleeves may be old school, but the rouching detail at the hem on the side seam is purely modern. Alyssa Milano's spaghetti top features tie strings at the shoulders, while her short-sleeved hoodie features a zipper, contrast stitching, and the team logo near the bottom left hemline. Other jerseys accent short sleeves with glitter stripes.
There's no doubt that women's fashion sense is making a splash in the sports world. Replica storm jerseys, fashion jerseys, pink ribbon jerseys, and glitter jerseys are giving female fans one more thing to cheer about!
