I just moved into a new town a few weeks ago so I was feeling rather lonely. Now, it's not that I didn't know how to meet women, but that I was just in a whole different scene. This is because I grew up in a pretty small, but liberal town. It is easy to meet women in a small town that you are familiar with. In my hometown, there were local parties all the time, everyone knew everyone, and enough new people moved in and out to keep things interesting and fresh.

However, understanding how to meet women became much more difficult when I relocated into a large city. For instance, I never really figured out how to talk to attractive women at bars. It was not an issue of shyness because I'm not a shy person. I think that it's because I was used to a more intimate environment. Approaching a stranger is a much more daunting task even if I knew how to meet women at local parties where I already knew many of the guests.

Of course, I tried every trick that I could imagine. However, the pickup lines and dating services I tried did not work. Nothing seemed to come through for me even after I posted my personal on how to meet women websites. My romantic life remained rather bleak, even if I had a few dates and made some good friends. I also knew that I would never find happiness in the big city if I did not learn how to meet women soon.

In my desperation, I finally tried one of those self-esteem coaching schemes. I disregarded the fact that it sounded pretty silly because I can't think of anything else. Anyway, it seemed to me that the speaker really seemed to know how to meet women and the techniques that he showed me really worked. I was able to approach any one that I wanted to after I took that coaching scheme.

However, I had learned nothing about how to meet women that appealed to me. The tricks and tips that I've learned do not work with women who are my type. I can easily approach women who are easily impressed by a clever line delivered with self-confidence. On the other hand, cheap male bravado are ineffective when used on women who are deep, intelligent, and soulful. Oh well, perhaps I should just go back to my hometown.
