For some reasons, she chose to go back to work after giving birth. It was hard for her, yet, she had to do that. At first, we planned to ask for my in-laws? help to look after our baby while my wife went to work. Unfortunately, her mother got a stroke. So, we had to find a new solution.



At the outset, we were skeptical about daycares. My wife almost canceled her plan to continue working. But then, a friend of our family told us about this great daycare where her son put his children in.

So, we went there and yes, we liked it.

This daycare had all the parents need to see.

? It was a licensed daycare

? It was not far from my wife's office

? It had small groups (less than five children per caregiver)

? The caregivers seemed to love children and being around them (it wasn't some kind of an obligation or a job, for them, it was more like a hobby or a passion of life, being around the children)

? The caregivers were well trained

? It allowed parents to visit. So, sometimes, during lunch time my wife could come there.

? It served healthy meals

? It was located in a safe neighborhood

? Its rooms had the same level of cleanliness with ours at home

? It had childproof rooms, doors, windows, cabinets, hot water taps, etc.

? It had special rooms for those who were ill, so the other kids won't get influenced

? It had good educational programs

So, my son went to that daycare five days a week up until he was two and a half. After my wife got pregnant with our second child, he no longer went there for my wife decided to quit her job and work from home.
