These pieces are very restricted in terms of quantity that is produced, and they usually demand a higher price. They are also available in posh clothing stores and in designer boutiques.

Perceptions in fashion design are not only applicable on pieces of finished clothing, but also on the fabric that is used. Fashion designers also have a say in choosing and creating the fabric that is able to do justice to their perception. Designers of textile are in the same way prominent in creating an outfit; these not simply left to professionals fashion design.
