NSI offers two levels of electronic security approval - NACOSS Gold and Systems Silver. NSI are also involved with Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC's) & Remote Video Response Centres (RVRC's).

ARC's provide security systems monitoring services all year round and the NSI approves ARC's in respect of the monitoring of signals received from intruder and fire alarm systems. NSI also approves RVRC's for the monitoring of BS 8418 detector activated CCTV systems and other CCTV systems used in security applications.

Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

If you are in the business of Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, NSI approval can also benefit you. Regulatory and policy changes put the onus on the customer, through

the 'responsible person', to be able to provide evidence that their fire system is fit for purpose and has been designed, installed, commissioned and maintained in accordance with the relevant British Standards. The most effective way of achieving this is to contract Third Party Certificated fire companies.
