The moral code we all learned as kids which said that one goes to school, then off to university, you get a job with a corporation and eventually retire in 40 years with a pension plan and a gift watch from the company was an idea, an expectancy, a blueprint which has been losing popularity as corporations failed, as colleges failed to properly educate to the extent that a high percentage of graduates are functionally illiterate.
