Intelligent or smart men usually find that in the other fields of life, they are more successful than others and also, they have the right answers to most of the questions. Thus, they have become used to the fact that they are different from others and that they are usually better than them.



This attitude of theirs often lands them in trouble. That is, they are unable to accept the fact that they are wrong. Thus, they rarely take any efforts towards changing themselves or even making an effort towards the same. Another tendency that intelligent men have is that, they tend to walk away from situations in which, they are wrong. They do this as; they can easily find another field they can be successful in. However, in case of women, they do not have this choice and thus, rather than improving, they stagnate at the same place for a long time.

Another reason for smart men being unsuccessful is that, they usually do not have good social skills. Thus, they cannot interact well with other people and thus, end up failing to strike a chord with them. Their arrogance can also be a major factor in them being unsuccessful.

In many of the cases, such men take a cynical view of things and hence, rather than trying to succeed, they come up with creative reasons due to which, they can fail. Here again, their tendency to walk away from things they do not understand plays an important part. As they cannot understand women, they do not even try.

Intelligent men usually take a logical approach towards solving a problem. This usually works but, in case of women, thinking logically means, showing negligence towards her emotions. Men often try to indulge in such logical conversations with women and thus convey that, they lack the skill of talking about other things. Women usually have a tendency of viewing such conversations as boring and lacking an emotional touch. Hence, they do not find them enjoyable.

Another habit of smart men is that, they usually think about the situation at hand carefully and work out a clear solution before taking any action. This again has a negative effect when it comes to dating women. A successful date usually requires quick wit and immediate verbal responses to situations that have arisen. As the intelligent men fail at that, the date rarely proves to be a successful one.

Thus, the best thing that smart men can do when they are dating is act spontaneously rather than trying to find solutions to the problem they are facing. If they do this then, their intelligence will no longer prove to be a curse for them.
