We are constantly either pushing people and items away or drawing them to us, and usually we don't realize what are actions are creating.

Want to alienate someone, try not bathing or brushing your teeth for a month or two.

People will avoid you like the plague.

Consider for a moment what things attract what we want, losing weight perhaps, driving a new car?

Face it certain things we do like good grooming attract others and poor habits like chewing with your mouth open tend to alienate others.

Success in network marketing or a home business, our habits attract it or we inadvertently push it out of our reach. Most people RSVP failure to their party.

In order to succeed in a work at home based MLM business here's items to avoid.

First it is critical to pay close attention to how our mind functions at the subconscious level. We need to be made aware it's like a little kid, it can't tell when we're serious or not, and if we talk negative it will simply interpret that we want negative and bad things to happen to us.

Always remember this, our subconscious mind only processes and feeds us back our thoughts, in this way it's like a computer, negative in, negative thoughts out, positive in, positive thoughts out. It only processes the information that we feed it.

Okay I get that I've got to stay away from any negative thoughts or small talk, but what do I do next?

Burn this important concept into your brain, everything under the sun is comprised of energy, the world was created by energy and everything we accomplish in life first starts with a thought. And a thought can't be called matter so what is it, it's energy.

So how we think ultimately determines what we attract into our lives.

Each morning begin it by thanking our creator for all that he has given us. Being grateful or thankful is like a conditioning exercise. It prepares our mind and creates positive energies for a productive and successful day. I find it helpful to keep some reminder (usually some object) with me at all times to remind me to feel grateful if I ever get discouraged.

Okay now before you ask you must specify exactly what your desire is. The Bible says ask and it shall be given unto you.

Now let me say this about asking and most people really misunderstand this.

Since many individuals don't understand asking, I think it is beneficial for your mindset toward success for the next couple paragraphs to explain wealth creation.

Many people are under the wrong impression that there is only so much wealth to spread around and if they take more, than other people will go without. Stop thinking like this immediately. When people over the last few hundred years worked harder to produce more for themselves the natural byproduct was that everyone around them also had more.

In the area of the rich and wealth much of the World has it wrong, they consider those who are wealthy as selfish. Actually wanting wealth by itself is not selfish or unselfish. It's what's in the person's heart that determines that. Desiring to create wealth enriches many others besides ourselves.

Consider this statement, a selfish person producing wealth helps more people than an unselfish person who is lazy.

The World often attributes those who seek wealth as being selfish, because they believe to become wealthy requires taking from those who have less. When in reality becoming wealthy is because we provide something of value to many others who have less.

I believe I know why those who have this attitude think the way they do. It's typically because the world throughout history has been made up of people and governments whose desire was to control others.

Consider this question, how does government get it's money, does it create it or does it gain it through taxing people? Most people in government have never created wealth through a business so in their way of thinking if someone becomes wealthy someone else became poorer. (A zero sum model) The whole point here is simply to understand wealth and success creation. I felt necessary to include this as to understand success requires a little understanding about how to best help others with wealth.

Okay we're back from our slight diversion let's now focus on what asking means to success.

Asking here is defining what we desire (new car, new home, more time with family) the key here is getting very specific about what we want. Too often we say we want a lot of money or a new car. Our subconscious mind can't really comprehend a lot of money, it's abstract and therefore it can't help us obtain it. However, a number like $98,854 in our bank account, that it can understand. Or a red Mustang convertible with red seats, etc it can understand.

Okay so we've established that the proper method to go about asking for what we desire is to be very definitive. In fact if I were to coach you I would have you practicing visualizing exactly what you desire down to the very last detail. If it's a new house, what's the color of brick, how many fireplaces, how many bathrooms, what's your dream kitchen, what does it look like? The more details you furnish the more likely you will get what you desire.

It is critical you understand this concept. When you were young and asked your parents for something you always got an answer. It may not have been the answer you were looking for but you got an answer. The same is true in our pursuit of success. If we have properly prepared to receive what our desire is we will receive it, otherwise it will be postponed until we are prepared.

It seems the world will only let us receive what we asked for if we are prepared first. It would serve us no good to ask for winning an Olympic Gold winner in a sport we had never trained in. So a certain amount of training prepares us to receive what our goal is. It's not enough to just think about our goal, we need to expect to achieve it. Most people place limits on themselves by thinking, "I'd like to however, I could never afford to live in a Million Dollar home". When we think these negative thoughts we program our subconscious mind to think all these statements are true and so it will continue to help keep us poor as long as we think this way.

Poor people in a rich society are that way for just two reasons, they are either lazy or they lack understanding. First don't get me wrong, this is not an exercise in trashing the poor. Most people are poor at sometime in their life, just ask a young student how much money they have? Many people who were once poor like myself develop an understanding of what is required for success and rise out of the ranks of the poor. There's always time for someone to turn their life around.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to know the principals of success, are obligated to use our knowledge to accomplish much, for which, we will be greatly rewarded. Abraham Lincoln said, "A poor person never became richer because a rich person became poorer."? The Bible guides us to never forget the poor, however if we are poor ourselves how much can we help others when we're just trying to help ourselves. Unfortunately there's not much we can do for someone who would be lazy, but we can educate and bring knowledge to those who thirst to learn.

So in conclusion it's really pretty simple, how we think ultimately controls our destiny for success or failure and if we gravitate toward negative thoughts we're headed toward failure. We must be very careful how we phrase things in our mind. We must constantly be on guard as it's so easy to let negative thoughts and doubts creep in. Every negative phrase we use like "I can't afford that" should be replaced with something positive like I choose not to buy it now but I will have it later. Thoughts like this build confidence.

Never and I repeat never should you use the words want or wanting or need or needing. Doing so programs your subconscious mind to be in want or need. (A wealthy person is not in want or in need.) I will or I'm going to have something is a better more positive choice. Saying positive affirmations for the purpose of speaking positive affirmations is of no value, they're only of value if they inspire confidence and belief.

When we learn to program our thoughts toward confidence and belief we're learning to attract success. This is why it's important to have a basis of wisdom and principals of love for others to govern our thoughts like the 10 Commandments. There have been many evil men who where guided by their own made up principals who were extremely confident in their own beliefs, however because they were not guided by a love for others they attracted much temporary success in ruling countries, however they also brought much misery on the world (men like Hitler, Stalin, Mao and many more).

Thus I believe it is very important that what we do, we do with an attitude of love toward our fellow man.

Consider this, think of all the men and women you know who seem very confident in themselves, are they successful or unsuccessful?

So, control your mind and thoughts and success will be yours - carpe diem.
