Clarke and Tracy Repchuk, but more about them later.
The first day.
Brett McFall was the first speaker at the conference. His opening tip was
that America is still 5 /10 years ahead on the internet. What did I pick up
from that? Recognizing that the internet is global, keep looking at what the
Guru’s are doing in the American market if you want to stay with the game.
Then Brett spoke these magic words – “All attendees would get a Resale Rights
and Master Rights to the DVD’s of the event" – pure gold!
The rest of the session was devoted to the Seven Steps to a Profitable Online
Business:-
1. Find a hot niche market.
2. Create a product that the market wants in the form of an ebook, audio or
video product. Make the product unique.
3. Create a powerful and compelling message in your Sales Letter.
4. Design a simple website.
5. Bring traffic to the site using Pay per Click and Google Adwords. Follow
this up by submitting articles, Press relaeases and posting on Forums.
6. Sell other people's products as their affiliate.
7. Have affiliates selling your product.
He also released the Uniform Resource Locator (URL), a global address of
websites or documents, where keywords could be searched online.
One important fact he released was that 82% of online buyers have purchased
items in response to an email.
Towards the end of the session he helped in the process of being able to
visualise the business we wanted so that it could be defined accurately. Even
the number of hours you wanted to work could affect the business you operated.
Low ticket prices required longer hours versus high ticket items and shorter
hours.
Shaun Clarke was new to me at the start of the conference but at the end I
was glad he had been a speaker. He was also going to do the internet
challenge but more about that later.
