When you are pitching your business you are selling yourself as mush as the business maybe even more so. Obviously the business does make a difference or does it?



When a big leader in a company changes his focus and moves to another company and his down line follows him are they following the person or the business?

They are following the person, they believe in the person and what they are doing. They assume that the business is a good idea because the leader believes in it and they believe in the person.

So how do you get people to know you on the Internet?

Are you more likely to do something with someone you know or a stranger?

There are hundreds of thousands of web sites on the Internet but there is only ONE YOU! Trying to get the top rankings is tough. Do you think if you told someone to google your name and there were thousands of hits leading to your web site they might take you more seriously? You bet they would!

Tell people who you are and what you are doing. Get your name and your web site out there.

Which scenario would you prefer?

Scenario #1

You build a huge business in XYZ company and something happens to the business and you loose that income from that business.You also loose all of the traffic and rankings that went with your web site. You find another company and you build it all over again.

Scenario #2

YOU promote YOU

You have a web site and you steadily build traffic to it. The company that you tell people about after they get know you goes south. You find a new company and want to build it. Do start all over again ? NO WAY You already have traffic to your site and you are still you right? So you make some changes to the site adding information about the new company and off you go building your new company.

I have been working with Internet Marketers and Network Marketers for years and the one consistent thing I have seen over and over is that once you start down the Internet marketing road you are always with it. It gets into your blood. You may change what you are doing but you are always looking and doing something and even with the pitfalls that the Internet has you will always need a web site.

Many people have multiple interests and belong to multiple companies. YOU promoting YOU still makes sense. Your own web site acts as a focal point for all of your businesses. It also gives you back links to your other sites.

Web site domains are cheap to but and hosting is inexpensive also. Once the initial site is built the cost to maintain it are also minimal.

So Do yourself a favor and start to promote yourself.It is the best asset you have.
