The bed that you have in your bedroom should be something that you look forward to. If you go to bed stressed and wake up exhausted, changing a few things bout your bed is what you need to do in order to improve your health and well being. No matter what you think, try removing the television for just one night and see if you can fall asleep better, faster and even sleep better. By the way, the exercise equipment doesn't belong either!

Now, take a look at your bed. Does it look inviting? If you have dressed your bed correctly, it will. To start, place clean, matching sheets on your bed. Actually make your bed. Although many people don't take into consideration the need to do this any longer, it can be an ideal way to make your bed more comfortable and inviting. You want to see a nice, neat fitting sheet and quilt. If you walk into a hotel room and sit on the bed, you enjoy the look and feel of a well dressed bed. Yours can be the exact same way!

To add even more character and enjoyment to your bed, take the time to fluff the pillows. Throw on to your bed a few decorative pillows. Try different materials for sheets including silks and satins. In fact, one of the most important things you can do to improve the quality of your sleep is to improve your mattress quality! If your bed is not comfortable and the room around it isn't going to provide you with relaxation, you shouldn't be sleeping in it. Make your room your sanctuary.
