Traditional business cards simply included the business's name and contact information. That is simply not enough anymore. If you hand out a business card that only gives customers your name and number, it is not going to do much for you. There is plenty of space on a business card, so use it. Include information about your company that will appeal to your customers. Include a slogan or a note about your company's history. You can even throw in a coupon or special offer. That will really make people notice your card.

Many people completely ignore the back of their business cards, leaving them blank. That is a tremendous waste of valuable advertising space. When you design your next project, include the back of the card in your plans. There is plenty of room there to include some of those things that we mentioned earlier.

Not only can this entice them to actually make use of your card, but it can generate some face to face contact for you with that customer.
