Many of the studies have revealed that obesity has become a major challenge especially to the western countries where in it is estimated that roughly there are around 60 million overweight people in US alone & this number is expected to climb sharply in the coming years. The only solution to this problem seems to be adopting to low carb diets that not only are tastier but helps us to control obesity in a phased manner. Medical community have reveals us that carbohydrates are solely responsible for providing energy for majority of cells in our body & cells in our brain as well. It is therefore evident that carbohydrates are utmost necessary for our body but needs to be avoided from consuming them in large proportions so that they are able to make a damage to our healthy living. Most of the processed junk stuffs like the colas, pizzas, burgers ,etc have large proportions of carbohydrates , rapid weight gains & obesity are inevitable after consuming them. The solution to this grave problem lies in us to adopt to low carb diets that will help us to trim our weight in a gradual manner. Varieties of different carbohydrates exists like simple carbohydrates & complex carbohydrates. Examples of simple carbohydrates are honey, sugar & flour. The disadvantage of using them is they drastically reduce our energy levels after they taken in. More over complex carbohydrates absorb in our body pretty slowly & consists of starch & fiber rich foods like rice , potatoes, fruits, grains, wheat etc. The real truth is that simple carbohydrate foods may not offer any nutritional value for us in the long run but can cause some side effects like cavities and tooth decay when consumed regularly. On the other hand, it is clear that low carb diets are indded tastier & nutritious than high carb foods providing us with high protein & mineral contents along with low fat levels & hence needs to be adopted in the longer duration. It is pretty safe to gradually migrate to low carb diets as the perfect solution to our weight loss problem. Many diet programs are followed by millions of people like the Dr. Atkins' diet, South beach diet, high protein diet, zone diet, etc to name a few & most of these programs follow their own specifications with regard to foods & recipes that are to be considered on a daily basis & it depends on the particular program chosen by an individual for his own diet plans. Some of the foods that are included in the list of low carb diets are the meat & eggs, chicken, pork, lamb, salmon & hard boiled eggs. You can as well consume some amounts of cheese, dairy products, and mozzarella as one of the recipes of healthy diet to be followed in longer duration. Low carb weight loss diet plans always propose for vegetables that have high protein levels. Few of the low carb diet recipes include eggplants, spinach, broccoli, and tomatoes to name a few. You can always try vegetable salads along with crumbled bacon, boiled eggs or mushrooms that can be garnished with them which form the main vegetarian carb meals since they are proved to be healthier foods. It is evident that in order to maintain good health conditions as well as escape from major health hazards like high blood pressure or cholesterol, we must & should adopt ourselves to low carb diets and avoid some processed and junk foods like the Pizzas, burgers & colas.
