About Us
 Guzman y Gomez Mexican Taqueria was created in Australia in 2006 and is an original concept developed by Steven Marks, a New York native who moved to Australia.
Together with childhood best friend, Robert Hazan, their love of Mexican cuisine and Latin culture grew from enjoying traditional Mexican meals at the homes of friends, Guzman and Gomez, from a very young age. From here their passion and enthusiasm grew and GYG (as the regulars call it) was born. Guzman y Gomez is named to honour old friends and created to share Mexican food and Latin culture with our new friends, like you!
