Boat Quay is a beautiful place and the deco of the hotel was reasonable.
We ordered a chicken dish, lentils and naan. They coaxed me to try one of their signature dishes too
Very expensive. Food was mediocre and the service really bad. For one person to have a bill of more than 100$ is very high, but the food and service was really bad. It took a long time for the food to come and there were only one or two waiters to serve food.
The worse is that there was human hair in the food and when it was pointed out, the staff did not offer to replace the dish nor apologise. They just gave a blank stare
Will never go back again and please dont be fooled by its location and what the staff says.

One in a line of dozens of eateries that line Boat Quay, this is one worth seeking out. Pleasant risverside ambience, unusually comfy chairs, and friendly, knowledgeable attentive service.
I started with the complementary poppadums, perfectly crisp and freshly made, served with mango chutney and a chilli minty coriander dip. Very more-ish, and the waiter asked if I wanted another helping, pointing out that it was complementary.
Then as a starter, Delhi ka samosa, a house special. These are pyramids of pastry stuffed with mildly spiced potato, cashew nuts and raisins. Probably better for two, but being in a greedy mood I scoffed the lot.
This was followed by a delicately spiced chicken curry with black pepper, jeera Basmati rice, tandoori roti, and an onion salad. The chicken was succulent and tender, the rice fragrent, the roti fresh and crisp, and the onions plentiful and crunchy.
Washed down with a few cold Tigers, a perfect relaxing start to a lazy Friday afternoon. Excellent quality is matched by attentive service with a real attention to detail and willingness to explain the menu.
The final bonus was being given the manager's card with a promise of a 20% discount on my next visit, which will be soon!
