About Us

There is a story behind every enterprise, and the story of Bobo starts with Mrs. Ang... In 1960s, Singapore was a young nation struggling to survive. Life was hard for 10 siblings of the Ang family.

A thrifty Chinese woman of traditional thinking, Mrs. Ang firmly believed that the prosperity of a family ultimately depended upon the solidarity of its members.

She decided to involve her children in the making of fishballs for sale, believing that this could help supplement the family income and bring the family close together.

More importantly, she wanted them to understand that family harmony was at the root of prosperity.

It was this spark of wisdom that brought Ha Li Fa to life. In 1993, the company was officially registered as Ha Li Fa. It's name reflected Mrs.

Ang for her children to unite to make the business a success. Although it has been in the market for more than 10 years, Ha Li Fa is modest about its success and continues to provide quality fishball and fishcake products to wet markets and food stalls islandwide.
