At Hide Yamamoto, diners can enjoy four different menus – namely: sushi, robatayaki, ramen and teppanyaki. The Japanese Restaurant is located on the second floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino, and it is the brainchild of renowned Chef Hide Yamaamoto.
We dropped by for teppanyaki during dinner on a weekend, and it was a splendid experience.
During dinner, Hide Yamamoto has several teppanyaki sets ranging from $180 to $380. For a more affordable option, they serve a teppanyaki lunch set at $80.
Surprisingly, i though this Japanese Place would be very pricey because of the nice place. However, I find the pricing very worth it. Its a nice place to try!
Love their teppanyaki! I am usually against playing with food, but the teppanyaki cooking show are so awesome!

Hide YamamotoNestled on the second floor of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Casino is the newest restaurant by renowned Chef Hide Yamamoto, one of the 2010 Global Chef Award Recipients. In this multi-concept 128-seat restaurant, patrons can treat themselves to four completely different menus and experiences.
This place has a unique seating arrangement, pleasant ambience. I tried their seafood ramen, which includes vegetables, lobster meat, crab meat (real ones, not those instant sticks we can buy from supermarkets) and scallops for just $30+ per bowl. The other must try item on the list is wagu beef.
