We offer courses in Piano, Keyboard, Voice & Music Theory leading to examinations conducted by the London College of Music.

We also offer leisure courses that are not focussed on examinations but provide a fun systematic learning program based on the graded courses.

Distinctives

HMC is proud to offer Christian Music Courses using Christian materials with adherance to Fundamental Music Theory and Practices. Our students are equipped to play and sing by ear, and are able to accurately perform from music scores. Many students who register for our Christian Music Courses receive lessons customised to suit their performance requirements in Christian ministry, their abilities and aspirations.

Christian Piano/Keyboard

• Divided into 3 broad levels that incorporate a chord based approach to learning and playing.

• Some students play strictly for their own pleasure while others may have aspirations to serve in ministry. To help them achieve their goals many new students are assessed before lessons begin so that the correct teaching approach can be set.

Christian Voice Courses

• Christian materials are used but teaching is based on fundamental singing techniques so that students are properly grounded and instructed at a level suited for their abilities. Consideration is also given to help individuals achieve their ministry goals and requirements.

• Requirements for the graded voice examinations are adhered to in order to achieve a more structured learning regime.

• is an authorized dealer for Casio Digital Pianos and Keyboards.

• provides choral training for churches

• has a resident vocal ensemble, Chorus D’Lite, that participates in performances for church as well as community projects.
