Honeymoon Dessert started out in Hong Kong that went global. For a taste in some of the most authentic Hong Kong style dessert in Singapore, they are one of the most easily accessible around town.
Craving for Honeymoon desserts now. Should go there tonight!
wow! too many amazing desserts to choose from! they serve the dessert so nicely, and not only that, it tastes yummy too. it tastes so fresh. i like the mango with pomelo. :)
Tried their new item green tea ice cream with coconut milk:)
Mango Pomelo & Sago Sweet Soup is one of their best desserts, must try…
Mango Pomelo & Sago Sweet Soup
Durian pancake olala.. My friend told me that the durian taste is very strong but all I know is its super yummy!
Was introduced by a friend last weekend. Their grean tea ice cream is realy nice. Will try other desserts also.
Scrumptious desserts! Even the picture can describe the deliciousness of the food!
Durian & manggo pancake; manggo pamelo sago; n durian & thai black glutinous rice with vanila souce are super yummyyy...!!!! U wanna eat it again again n again...!!
should try their mango pancake and the durian pancake.. filled with  creme and mango or creme and durian.. yummy!
The walnut & almond paste taste good, It is abit sticky and concentrated. Because i scare that the almond taste will too overpowering so I mixed the 2 up together. It\'s taste is nice and i like the combination of it. I also ordered the sweet potato soup (hot), it tasted quite sweet. The potato serving were a lot and it taste nice because it is soft and it matches well with the soup.
I know they are popular with their durain dessert but I wasn\'t in the mood for durain and wanted something warm n nice. I ordered a bowl of almond paste with sesame glutinoue ball and my friend ordered a black sesame paste mixed with walnut paste along with sago. The dessert was good, thick and creamy and yet not too sweet. Satisfying to the palette indeed after a savoury meal.
This cold milky dessert is one of the signature dessert which most of us will from this stall. The coconut milk used in their.dessert is very fragrant and make the dessert really thick in texture. The sweet potato cubes in it are very soft and moist which blend in really well in the coconut milk. The sago in the dessert also added that extra chewy texture to it and make it more tasty too.
Good news for dessert lover. Honeymoon dessert has opened another new outlet at 313 Somerset. I was pleasantly surprised to know that it has opened its door at 313 Somerset while hunting for a dessert place after dinner with my group.Previously when I visited the Bugis Junction outlet, I only tried their mango desserts. My friend recommended me to their durian desserts which was really very good. For durian lovers, I highly recommend you to give their durian desserts a try. You will not be disappointed.
I was very excited when I chanced upon Honeymoon Dessert at Bugis Junction. I didn\'t realised one of the popular dessert chains in Hong Kong has expanded into Singapore. Now I do not need to fly to Hong Kong to have my favourite Mango Dessert. They have quite an extensive Hong Kong desserts on their menu.My favourite is the mango sago dessert. Fresh and sweet mango. It was very freshing and hearty after a meal.
This is how the outlet looks like in Vivocity, usually packed and crowded.I didn\'t know that you could divide the desert menu into sections like this but i thought it was pretty well-organized and I was spoilt for choice.Ordered Almond with glutinous rice ball ($5.90) and Mango and vanilla cream with grass jelly ($6.90). I thought it was pretty delicious and it was really smooth, not so sweet. The almond was smooth. The mango was really sweet and fresh and the vanilla cream was a perfect combination with the mango and it was a smart move to include the grass jelly in the desert.A great place to go after eating your main dish anywhere else in vivo!
I had a wonderful dessert at Honeymoon today and I was glad I chose to come here instead of elsewhere. I ordered the red bean soup with grass jelly and added on a scoop of green tea ice cream for a more indulgent treat. I really loved the red bean soup as the sweetness is enough and the red beans are slightly soft which made it very easy to eat. The grass jelly adds a different texture to the soup and the green tea ice cream also went surprisingly well with the red bean soup.
A place for dessert after lunch or during tea. The serving is rather small. But the ingredients used a blended fresh fruits and real fruits, naturally sweet If you love mango, you may try the mango with chin chow If you love papaya and love drinking papaya juice, you may try the papaya sago
My mum went out with a group of friends and I decided to tag along. I made the right decision. We went to eat dessert at Honeymoon Dessert. I didn\'t have lunch, so my mum ordered a banana pancake for me. Fruits are healthy, after all. When the pancake came, my first reaction was, "So CUTE!" It was about 5cm long. The banana was nice, but the cream was fattening. Overall, I wouldn\'t say it was wonderful as not only was the portion small, the cream was fattening, which made it unhealthy. However, I wouldn\'t mind ordering more. (: After eating that share, I wanted to get another, but I had to take my health into consideration, so I stopped there. I quite like this pancake, the only bad point about it is the cream. Maybe, if the amount of cream was cut down, it might be nicer. Looking at the price, it\'s not so worth it.
After the prawn noodle at East Coast, my friends and I decided to go to I12 Katong for some desserts. This was the place that one of my friends recommended. She said the Sesame paste and the Almond tea were good.Recently, I was quite hooked on Almond tea, so I thought I should order one. There was really lots of different type of desserts. After another look through the menu, I found a combination of my two favourite desserts, almond tea and sweet potatoes. That\'s it! This would be my choice. Hmm....the Almond tea was nice, smooth and fragrant, the sweet potatoes were soft and sweet. Not bad. Surely wouldn\'t mind having one again next time. Spending: Approximately SGD 4
Decided to go for some dessert with my friends after our dinner. We pass by honeymoon dessert and since we did not try before, we decided to give it a try. They have a variety of desserts, from hot, to cold. Some of the desserts you can find at other dessert stall, while some special ones are only in their stall. Overall, prices were reasonable, dessert tasted quite good as well. The ones that are hot are serve hot, cold are serve cold.
I was happy to see Honeymoon Dessert opening a new outlet at Bugis I love mango desserts and this chain hails from Hong Kong and I heard it is quite popular over there. The outlet at bugis junction is on the same stretch as Mos burger... You can also go by Mango and they are on the left of the taxi stand. They do serve other like walnut paste, almond paste, and black sesame paste. I will try again next time.Spending: Approximately SGD 6.5
Honeymoon dessert is always the natural choice for me to have desserts whenever I am in vivocity. It is always packed after dinner so finding seats may be a problem for groups with more than 5 pax. Since I am with my hubby only, it is easy for us to get seats. I ordered the beancurd with sesame paste. The beancurd is really smooth and soft in terms of texture and tastewise it is just nice lightly sweetened. This is because the sesame paste is already sweetened, so the overall sweetness works out to be just right. It is a healthy and good dessert for nourishing hair due to the sesame paste.
Me and my friend are craving some desserts after our dinner hence we stopped by Honeymoon Dessert to satisfy our cravings. I decided to order the black sesame paste since it has been a while since I had it, and my friend ordered the mango sago. The black sesame paste is very thick and black and it tastes quite rich in black sesame flavour as well. The sweetness level is just right for me too. Overall, I would say it is worth a second order next time I am here.
I went for desserts at Honeymoon again after having my dinner in bugis street. I decided to try the green tea ice-cream with sago after seeing someone at the next table order it. Althought some shun the sago cause it is tasteless, i like the texture of it and it just adds texture to a otherwise plain dessert. The scoop of green tea ice cream is great. I love the milky taste and the best thing is it does not taste artificially sweet. As for the sago,it is cooked thoroughly, and i didn\'t taste any hard bits. A nice ending to my dinner.
This is redbean with herbal jelly and green tea icecream, the ice cream is added on one so have to add additional cost. However i find the combination tastes abit weird. I guess have to add vanilla instead. however overall it tasted not bad and the environment there is nice! (:It cost about $4.How it looks like, the nice environment to hang out.
ever since the first time i tried at this shop, i already fell in love with its desserts. the choices of desserts were quite large and at an afforable price. most important of all was the great taste. as usual i ordered the mango sago with beancurd and it tasted great. the rich mango taste really blended well with the beancurd and the sago gave the additional crunchy tasteSpending: Approximately SGD 6.80(Other)
I am back at Honeymoon for desserts again. The place is quite packed and we had to wait for a while before we could get seats. As much as I liked to try out other desserts, I couldn\'t help but order from the beancurd series since I have a lot of phelgm and did not want to take anything too sugary or icy. Since I tried the red bean beancurd the other time, this time I went for the almond one. This almond and beancurd is even better than the red bean beancurd combination! The milky taste and thick consistency of the almond gives a very nice contrast to the silky soft beancurd texture. It is really good. I am craving for this right now as I imagine the taste. Do try it!
quite addicted to honeymoon dessert since the last time i tried as it tasted very similar todesserts that i tried in hong kong. i think among their desserts, the mango desserts tasted the best. this time i tried the mango sago with dumpling. i felt the mango sago tasted not as nice and more diluted compared to the last time i tried. but i still have high hope for this store and will continue to try other desserts on the menuSpending: Approximately SGD 6.50(Tea)
We were craving for desserts and decided to try Honeymoon Desserts located at Paragon. We ordered the walnut and almond paste mixed. It costs around $5 for the dessert. The service was slow and it took very long for our dessert to be served. The paste was not mixed very well and I could feel lumps of paste sticking together. It tasted a little bland on the taste buds.Spending: Approximately SGD 5(Tea)
There are many desserts to choose from Honeymoon Desserts. In this particular occasion, I had their Walnut Paste with Black Thai Glutinous Rice. Their walnut paste is decent, with a right texture (not too thick, not too diluted) and not overly sweet. The black thai glutinous rice adds a chewy element to the otherwise ordinary walnut paste. It may seem very sticky at first but mix it with a little walnut paste and the dish provides an interesting if not different twist to the normal humble walnut paste!Spending: Approximately SGD 4.50
Desserts are always the best choice to have after a meal. Therefore, i decided to order a Mango Sago at Honeymoon Dessert. One of the reason why i order Mango Sago is that many of the reviewers had tried it out and most of the verdicts were pretty good. Hence i gave it a try for the Mango Sago. As you can see from the photo being shoot, the mango is real and thick ! Whats more there are alot alot really alot of Sago inside. So if you are a sago mango lover, you should try! The mango is not sour too, taste sweet and fresh. Portion wise is good especially when we just have a meal ahead. This is really a dessert place to go after meal
The mango pancake from Honeymoon Dessert is really disappointing. It is a mistake to order that as the serving is really pathetic. It costs $3.50 for the slice of really small mango pancake filled with fatty cream and tiny piece of mango. It is oily and I did not enjoy the dessert which was a waste of money.Spending: Approximately SGD 3.50(Tea)
pass by this outlet when walking around in paragon, i think is just opened not too long ago. i ordered the mango pancake. is actually like crepe but just that is wrapped up like a ham roll. the mango taste quite sweet, it has a nice blend with the whipped cream but i think the price is slightly steep cause is quite a small pancakeSpending: Approximately SGD 3.50(Tea)
ate bbq for lunch so want to get a dessert to "detox" myself. ordered the mini mochi with mixed fruits in mango sauce and i think it was a bad choice because the mango sauce was so blend! the mochi was not bad, quite chewy but since the sauce is so blend, it compromised the mochi taste a little. next time i will just stick to the usual= mango pomelo sagoSpending: Approximately SGD 5.80(Tea)
was walking around and decided to drop by a dessert store for a break. i ordered the mango pomelo with sago and i added bean curd. the mango taste really nice and rich, i can taste real mango and not just mango syrup. the bean curd was not too bad either, quite smooth but i think it did not really blend well with the mango sago
was shopping in bugis so stopped by at the dessert for a break before continuing with my shopping spree. this store has quite a large variety of desserts to choose from so i was spoil for choices. but i ultimately decided on mango glutinous rice. the special thing about this store is that instead of using coconut milk, they use vanilla sauce instead so the dessert is slightly healthier but still taste nice. the mango is also very fresh and sweetSpending: Approximately SGD 4.50(Tea)
I was pregnant then when I visited this restaurant, and I still remember that there was this young chap that kept reminding me about the uneven surface just before I was seated. He even gave me a bigger seat where the section was closed so that I could sit comfortably. Every item on the menu looked attractive, and it would have been much better if I hadn\'t eaten so full. Prices seem to be higher than the normal dessert that I had eaten elsewhere but taste was really extraordinary. Probably was because they have put different items that we have not seen it elsewhere which make them stand out. It is very seldom to see the combination of mango with black glutinous rice. Nice creativeness!
My group decided to go for some dessert after a heavy steamboat dinner.I ordered the durian pancake. The picture on the menu makes it look rather big. When the item arrives, I was rather disappointed that it is small.Especially for the price of $4.50.There was more fresh cream on the inside than durian paste. They should call it fresh cream pancake with a dash of durian. The paste was rather fresh and yummy though.Would be good if it\'s bigger or there\'s more paste inside.I actually find this dish abit messy. They have put in too many fruits of different taste in the dish.Totally not my kind of dessert.Doesn\'t look appealing too. $6.30Interesting concoction with strong coconut taste.A good thirst quencher. $4.20Goes well in the throat. Not sure if it is me or it\'s a norm for this drink, I feel that the mango taste is abit fake.It\'s like something from the cordial. $4.80 Spending: Approximately SGD 5(Other)
Honeymoon dessert is simply mouthwatering, it is also a good for friends or colleaguesgathering. Die die must try the pancake ! We had tried the durian one, inside the pancake it has real durian flesh ! It is being place inside a rice bowl. However, probably 60% is the cream or moose if you dont feel like having a cold dessert, you can also tried their rock sugar papaya dessert ! taste great too This is the Tofu pudding with red bean soup xD !Sago lovers can give it a shot ! Estimated price per person is 10 bucks (:
This is a nice place to hang out when the restaurant is not crowded, like in the late afternoon. I have been here a few times, but usually I\'d order the mango pomelo sago. This time, I decided to order something else. I ordered the mango with glutinous rice balls and vanilla sauce. The vanilla sauce was actually vanilla ice, which I liked very much. The glutinous rice balls was different from the usual glutinous rice dessert I have had. It was not bad, but is very filling. Mango was sweet with a little sourness, just the way I like it.
It is a double happiness dessert (a name I give it) as it really taste good. It consists of shaved ice with coconut milk, one scope of glutinous rice and durian paste each. The combination of these items goes really well and I really enjoy having the dessert. It costs only $4.90, worth the money.Spending: Approximately SGD 4.90(Other)
It was recommend by my friend i ordered their Mango Pomelo Sago,it was a bit expensive sweet mango in small cubes, lot ofpomelo &quite a lotof chewy little sago balls in thick mango juice and milk It does not have the tingy feel ,not either too sweet, the sour pomelo balance it well with the sweetness overall i rate 7/10
Honeymoon Dessert sells a big variety of desserts. My favourite of them all is the glutinous riceballs which come in either the peanut filling, red bean filling or the black sesame filling. I love to have a mix of the riceballs when I order them so that I can get to enjoy of all 3 flavours! The glutinous riceballs are soft and served warm. Indeed very appetizing
Honeymoon Dessert at Somerset 313 is always crowded on weekends and I remember queuing for a while before getting a seat. I ordered the sweet potato soup (hot), it tasted quite sweet though I asked for less sugar. The potato serving were a lot and I actually prefer more soup in fact. Ambience is nice, a good place to chill and chat with friends.
I ordered the Mango Sago at the Honeymoon Dessert located in Vivo City. It costs $4.90 for a bowl of it. The mango sago tasted good as it was very cooling for the throat. The smell was fragrant and it did not taste too sweet as well. Honeymoon Dessert is a good place for chilling out with family and friends.
Honeymoon dessert has always been one of my old time favorites when i was in Hong Kong. And banana pancake roll is one of my usual favorite then. And since they made their way here and i started to indulge myself in these luscious banana roll once more. Chunks of nicely ripe banana were chosen, the sweetness of the banana coupled with fresh tasting cream wrapped nicely in a thin layer of an eggy sheet. It is so simple yet so irresistible. If you are a banana lover then this particular dessert is something you should give it a try. Recommended.
my mother, sister and i went to honeymoon desserts for some nice desserts. i shared desserts with my mother as my sister wanted to finish hers all to herself. my mother and i share the Mango in Vanilla Sauce with Thai Black Glutinous Rice and the Mango and Pomelo Sago. the desserts were indeed refreshing. the mangoes in both desserts were ultra sweet. it was so good, i prefer the mango and pomelo sago, i guess i am not really a fan of glutinous rice. the price for the dessert is quite reasonable for the portion given.
In all the previous times I have passed by Honeymoon Desserts, it is always full or close to full house. Therefore, the other day, seeing as it was relatively empty, I decided to take the chance to try out its desserts. I ordered the red bead with beancurd, which arrived in less than 5minutes. I love how the red bean soup isn\'t too sweet and how silky and smooth the beancurd is. The beancurd is very lightly sweetened, which is just right since the red bean itself is already sweet. I am definitely coming back to try out its other beancurd desserts!
Like many of the reviewers, I tried the Mango sago & pomelo dessert. At $5.50, I expected more from this dessert since it is pricer than the mango sago dessert sold at other dessert stalls. For this price, I think they can definitely be more generous with the mango and pomelo. But tastewise, I would think it is one of the better mango sago desserts around. It is not overly sweet which is good since the mango itself is already sweet.
Nice sweet potato with ginger soup dessert! Tummy was not feeling well and once i had this steaming hot dessert soup, i felt better. Perhaps it\'s because of the ginger. Sweetness just nice for me meaning not too sweet and not the ginger used also not too much. However the sweet potato medium soft though. I would prefer a softer sweet potato. All in all it\'s still a good traditional dessert!
This Mango Pomelo & Sago Sweet Soup dessert is certainly refreshing! They said it\'s made from fresh mango meat, sweet sago cream and sour pomelo meat and juice of mango flavor. For me the mango meat is not sweet enough though. However after a full meal, i don\'t mind a bit of sourness for digestion afterall!
We were here quite at night after dinner time, and there was not much of a crowd around. I am such a lover of mango and had to ordered the mango pomelo sago. The mango was sweet and a little sour. It was better without the pomelo, as it was a little bitter. The first few mouthful were perfect - sweet and creamy. Towards the end, I found it too sweet.
Tried few times in Hong Kong before and it\'s good! so decided to try the singapore branch as well. The red bean soup ( hot) is not as tasty and sweet though. Feel that sago and the skin of mandarin orange is missing that left the soup not so tasty. Also the beans are not cooked until crushed. the other dessert called " tong but lat" kind of dumpling ball but without fillings inside it served with peanuts on top also " so so" only. They are not generous in the peanuts serving.
I love this dessert! It is a must try for those mango lovers, and its a dessert that will hardly go wrong. Sweet mango juice thicken with condensed milk, and with chunks of mango and pomelo. Though next time round i will be having the mango sago instead. The pomelo is bitter, and spoils the sweetness of the mango. The sago is chewy and smooth. Great dessert for any time.
What caught my attention when I walked past Honeymon Desserts was their decoration of the shop. The walls are decorated as if they are book shelves filled with many books. It\'s quite interesting So my friends and I decided to try out heir desserts. We ordered their mango pomelo and viola! It was perfect! Their mangoes are sweet and fresh, their pomelo bites are juicy! Such a great way to chill after dinner to enjoy some good desserts with good company Spending: Approximately SGD 5
If you want something sweet but not into ice cream then this is the place for you. First encounter with Honeymoon Dessert was at Hong Kong 2 years ago. I was rather excited when they made their way to Singapore. I decided to try the red bean soup with grass jelly when visiting them for the first time in Singapore. I was given a choice to choose between the hot or cold, i went ahead to order the cold one. I did not enjoy this dessert. The grass jelly tasted boring and i dislike the aftertaste caused by the dried orange skin that added to the red bean soup. I shall stick to their mango dessert next time.
As a mango lover, I decided to give the mango beancurd a try. The display of the mango beancurd certainly deserved high points for aesthetic value. From the picture, you can see there is a thick layer of blended mango and a few pieces of mango. However, I think it does not taste as good. This is because the mango and the beancurd is separated in their taste. However, the beancurd is still very smooth and tender as it disintegrates in your mouth. The mango is not too sweet so it does not make one sick of it.
This dessert outlet is always packed with people as they served delicious and wonderful dessert. I ordered one of their best sellers. The picture must have already triggered your taste buds. The presentation is good and aesthetically pleasing with so quite a few colours. This dessert contains attap seed, mango, banana, apricots, fruit seeds and white sago in coconut milk. The coconut milk is not too thick and sweet so does not make one sick of it. The coconut milk is very smooth and you could bite the fruit seeds and sago when you place it in your mouth. The fruits make this dessert very refreshing. I love the mango and attap seeds especially. The mangos were sweet and attap seeds have a very good bite.
My friends and I decided to have some dessert at this shop after lunch that day. They serve both hot and cold desserts, ranging from simple ones like tau huay to more premium ones like durian puree. I chose to have Mango sago with pomelo in coconut milk. It was a great combination of sweetness coming from the coconut milktogether with the sourness from the pomelo. The mango was not that sweet that day, sadly. The serving was quite a big one and after eating half of the bowl, I already started feeling sick of it, because it was just too much. Thus, I suggest if you are not a big eater, you should share a bowl with someone else! Nevertheless, I enjoyed my dessert which refreshed me.
The prices are fixed without service charge and gst included in the price u see in the menu If you want a refreshing drink, try the Kiwi Drink, the kiwi is really fresh but do not expect anything more it\'s kiwi juice.. If you love sesame paste, maybe you would wanna try their sesame paste (cold) It is not so sweet too.. However, it is rather thin, I think it would be better thicker. If you love watermelon juice, try this watermelon with grass jelly. The watermelon is fresh and sweet The grass jelly texture is so Q! However, I would prefer if they have shaved ice, and do not expect much cos it\'s watermelon juice with grass jelly
I have been craving for dessert at this place for quite some time. It was quite crowded during tea time, but still some empty seats around. All the food in the menu look absolutely yummy, and I had trouble deciding on the dessert for myself. Eventually, I ordered the mango sago, since it was one of the best seller. Best seller indeed, the dessert was very smooth, with pieces of mango, pomelo and sago. It was very refreshing, and the paste was not too thick. The pomelo bits was sweet which adds to the tastiness because pomelo bits can be bitter. I would love to come back here for the other desserts. I wonder how many times do I have to come here to try out all the desserts that look so fantastically delicious..
Whenever I visit Hongkong, I am sure I will have desserts at Honeymoon. so far, they have not disappointed me.

Heard of Honeymoon Desserts ventured in Singapore market, we saw queues often at the beginning, it put us off to try their famous desserts though. That day we passed by and there wasn't a queue to our surprise. After lunch, we decided to give it a try.

We ordered 2 bowls of their signature desserts "yang ci jin lu" mango, sago, pamelo desserts and one piece of durian roll.

I scooped spoonful by spoonful the yang ci jin lu, trying very hard to taste Mango, the colour was right but taste was really blanded, then asked my friend, he shared the same 'tasteless'.

Durian roll was expensive for its price. As you see, there was only 1/3 of durian paste with 2/3 cream. On my most recent trip to HK, Dec '10, for such price there are serving 2 pieces. Why is it Singapore more expensive?

We were disappinted for the 2 desserts. No comment on the rest of the menu.

After a filling Korean dinner, my friend & I decided to head down to 313 @Somerset for some Hong Kong desserts as she had been hearing me rave about Honeymoon Desserts but always miss the chance to try. Hehe

Grass Jelly in Vanilla Sauce with Green Tea Ice Cream $4.50

I finally decided to try something different from my usual Mango dessert. Thankfully this was very good too! There was a big scoop of green tea ice cream in the middle of the bowl filled with grass jelly & vanilla sauce. Very refreshing bowl of dessert! We both loved it

Mixed Fruits Sago with Mango Juice $6.00

My friend is an avid Mango lover so she decided on this. It was a generous bowl of different types of fruits - strawberry, kiwi, mango, papaya, rock melon and toddy palm in yummy mango sauce. Surprisingly this time the toddy palm was quite soft. Thumbs up!

Mango Iced drink $4.50

We realised that there is a current UOB credit card promotion - minimum spending of $15 with UOB credit card and you will get a free Mango Pudding ($3.50). So we decided to order this drink hehe, plus we were actually quite thirsty. This drink didn't really "wow" us as the mango didn't taste as fresh & sweet as those in the Mixed Fruits Sago. It was just a normal drink......

Mango Pudding (on the house)

Thanks to the UOB credit card promotion, we had this pudding free of charge, nice! The shop Chinese name was even printed on the pudding. With or without the syrup they provided, this mango pudding is worth trying. Yummy.

It was a great choice to go to this desserts joint for our mango fix. A great way to end the night hee.

This cosy shop serves many different and creative desserts from Hong Kong.
I like their mango pudding. The skin is ultra soft and melts in your mouth.
The mango itself is not too sweet and is simply awesome when you bite it with the cream inside.
They comes in durian pudding as well.

Worth having some sweet moments with family and friends worth enjoying the sweet desserts. You'll be spolit for choice.

The red bean soup tastes just nice which is not too sweet. The red beans itself is also not very soft until it is over-cooked.The vanilla ice-cream tastes average only.

Guess the highlight is the red bean soup in which the grass jelly is average only though there is a long queue at the shop.

Accidentally saw tat Honeymoon Desserts is now open at 313 Somerset as well & decided to satisfy my craving for their yummy desserts. I think the 1st outlet in Singapore was opened in Vivo City level 1, & I'm happy tat they have now expanded to 313 Somerset & Bugis Junction

I tried Toddy Palm with Black Glutinous Rice in Vanilla Sauce for a change ($4.50) while my friend had her hot Walnut & Almond Paste ($3.50).

The toddy palm (海底椰) was a bit hard, else it's just the same gd feeling I get from eating its famous mango with black glutinous rice in vanilla sauce. ^^ As for the walnut & almond paste, it was good, tho' my friend commented she thought the almond taste was too overpowering so she mixed the 2 up together.
