KURO’s Japanese influenced menu is suggested by world renowned grand chef Hide Yamamoto (of Hide Yamamoto at Marina Bay Sands) and features an impressive list of Japanese dishes that includes sushi, sashimi and ala carte dishes.

“The dinner menu at KURO will bring a whole new level to casual dining at Clarke Quay and the Japanese bar snack dishes that were created will also be something undoubtedly unique to many guests as well”, said grand chef Hide Yamamoto.

The KURO head chef underwent a special training course at Hide Yamamoto to ensure that every dish would be of high quality. Some of the chef’s recommendations for starters include the Tofu Avocado Salada and Shishamo No Goma Age. The Kanpachi Carpachio Sashimi is also highly recommended as well as the Rainbow Sushi Roll.

Western and Asian favourites such as prawn paste chicken wings are also available. In total, the food menu comprises more than 50 items.

The drink menu is equally impressive with most of the beers, wine, whiskies & cognacs served, with a focus on Japanese whisky such as by Nikka which includes the 12, 15, 17, 21 to 25 years old editions. KURO is also the only establishment in Clarke Quay that has Asahi Super Dry and Kuronama beer on tap.

A focus on women customers includes a drink menu including Umeshu, Shochu & Sakes as well as specialty cocktails and champagnes.
