FACE MATERIALS / ADHESIVES / RELEASE LINERS

Afa Tac’s self-adhesive label stock is widely used for product and information labelling in a wide variety of end-use applications all over the world.

Our products are delivered in rolls and sheets. Roll products are typically used in roll-to-roll labels printing; Sheets products are typically used for offset printing and screen printing. We offer both standard size and customised size for various markets.

Afa Tac offers a large range of existing materials to meet the needs of many specialised product applications. If we do not already have the product you require, we can mix and match our extensive range of face materials, adhesives and release liner to cater to your specific requirements and applications.

Label stock products consist of three components which are laminated together:

Face materials »

The Face Material is the carrier which is commonly coated on one side with adhesive and usually printed on the other side. Face Material can be a wide variety of papers, films, fabric, foils, etc.

The Face Material will affect the types of ink that will print well on them.

Adhesives »

An adhesive, or glue, is a mixture in a liquid or semi-liquid state that adheres or bonds items together. Adhesives are coated on one side of the Face Material.

Release Liners »

A Release liner is a paper or plastic based carrier web material, which is coated on one or two sides with a release agent, which provides a release effect against any type of a sticky material such as an adhesive or a mastic. Release liners are available in different colours, with or without printing under the silicone or on the backside of the liner. Release is separation of the liner from a sticky material. A liner is the carrier for the release agent.
