 In 2007, it appeared that Jim and Sherri Wear had achieved the American dream.
They lived in a beautiful home, had accomplished many business successes and had attained financial freedom. But Sherri found herself severely depressed and Jim was facing many health issues. Their doctor and close friend, Dr. Murray, spoke words that will never be forgotten - words that penetrated their hearts and shocked them to their cores. "I have never seen a couple look so vibrant and healthy on the outside but headed for such an early death on the inside," Dr. Murray said. This was a turning point in the Wears’ lives. Never giving up on their love and zest for life, they started searching for answers. And answers they did find! Their search led them to what is now known as Mila, The Miracle Seed. The profound effect that this seed had on Sherri was the birth of Lifemax. Sherri describes the way she felt before Mila as a time when the lights were on but no one was home. After just a few days of experiencing the product, it was as if the fog had lifted. What the Wears had to do became immediately apparent. After much research, Jim and Sherri found a way to share this life-changing product on a global level. The network marketing platform presented itself, not as the easiest way to get this product to market, but as a way for others to experience the benefits of Mila while at the same time fulfilling their dreams. Mila became more than just a product; it became an opportunity for any driven person to change the course of their life. Success is no stranger to the Wears, a dynamic husband-and wife duo. After 20 years together and 17 of those years spent working side-by-side, they’re focused on their purpose and calling in life now more than ever before. As entrepreneurs and dreamers at heart, a mighty force keeps them charging forward. They’re going after their future goals together and creating a world that others want to be part of. Lifemax is the third company the Wears have taken to multimillion-dollar status. They’re both proud of that fact, but even more proud that after semi-retiring at the early ages of 37 and 39 they realized that money does not make you happy and money alone will never fulfill your true purpose in life. "You can have a lot of money in the bank, drive fancy cars and own beautiful homes, but if you are not taking people with you it can be quite lonely at the top," Jim says. "Money without a purposeful mission can actually have the reverse effect on you than most would think." Sherri also truly believes that every person can and should experience abundance in all aspects of life. She sees life as a series of tests.
