The birthplace of the Singapore Sling, the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel is a step into nostalgia, with its straw fans and colonial architecture. Inspired by the plantations of 1920s Malaya, this two storey bar is the place to be if you want to taste Singapore’s signature drink.

We went to the long bar as recommended by our friendsand It was great the ambience of the building and bar make the price easier to digest. The staff were friendly and the concept of throwing your nut shells on the floor surprising! Famous for the Singapore sling its definitely a place to go. Thumbs up!

Great Hotel bar with a cracking atmosphere this is a must visit when in Singapore. Food was really ace with friendly service. Try it.
Is where I had my first and original Singapore Slingshot! Had one hell of a party with their great Latin band. Plus, they serve peanuts for free and the fun part is you can throw the nutshells on the floor...legally!
